In the main controller settings tab you would turn off beginner mode and under that is the option to set your max altitude from 20-500m.

Do you see any explaination about why it's in the box? Where is the delivery guy who should put it in the delivery car? Maybe it's not in the delivery car because he made a mistake at step 2? Is there any cheese on it? Can you be sure since you not there? Maybe someone stole it and you paid for him? What about the car is out of gas and the delivery guy is waiting for backup? Maybe he's lost? Is he out and the pizza is waiting and will become cold?

So much questions in a normal delivery process which even an application made for it couldn't answer.

not sure but I ordered about 4 hours after launch,  and mine has not shipped yet, but I did get the notice that it will ship tomorrow,   fedx   NEW UPDATE TONIGHT SAYS ITS SHIPPED,  BUT NO TRACKING INFO FROM FEDX YET..

Why would great demand mean they can't fullfill the first orders on time? Does demand somehow mean you must destroy your existing stock?

They announced a shipping day. It doesn't matter how many orders they got, they still should have had some (a precedented amount of) product ready to ship. They didn't, so there must have been another reason for the delay.

The vague statement about demand delaying the release  makes perfect sense when you consider how demanding Apple is. Apple wouldn't budge on their in-store date, demand on all fronts was greater than production, so Apple store stock is taking away from/delaying pre-order shipments. I predict you'll see these in Apple stores before a lot of our pre-orders arrive.

I'm not to sure. How they work it,
So I can produce 100 in 10 days but if my machines are at full capacity I can produce 200 in 15 days, scales of economy for production, so I can have 100 in 10 days for you but if you need 200 I can do them in 15 days, yes there 5 days late but you twice as much.

Yes it does. Right now it seems to be shipped (or ship tomorrow) for the Sept 27th buyers without combo. Some people who bought it on Sept 28th said it was shipped too (but not received yet).

I was talking to apple uk earlier an the guy said it's still shipping in November   I ordered mine on the 5th October so they is a lot of people in front of me. Right I'm off to watch the latest flight test video with the mavic and a GoPro.

Just watched flight test on YouTube and the mavic camera is awesome , I really wish I had mine to take away with me tomorrow

I'll probably get my order in December, even though I ordered on the 28th at 8 UTC, because of my conjectures.... lol. But do note that all my posts have been about trying to figure out an explanation. I never once complained, or said anything negative about anyone or any company, I just enjoy trying to solve puzzles. Sorry if that upsets anyone, and it certainly wasn't intended to get anyone stirred up.

All that joking aside... have you seen DJI's Repair tool? It has a workflow like Domino's, letting you know what stage you are in.

i.e. RMA > Inspection > Estimate > Repair > Testing -> Shipped

The testing stage also has substages, so you know what tests are left to do.
And the repair place (at least here in California) is FAST!

It's impressive. Would love something like this for preorders!

Actually, I have been following these forums since the launch and have been waiting patiently, even after seeing the post you have been making. You continue to attack other forum members calling them names, there is no sense in that, and you know this becuase you yourself posted "calling the sales staff names is uncalled for". Well the same goes for other forum members.
Go read my post, I state very clear my point about lying. Now if you think I am wrong and want to debate that with actual words without name calling then let me know and we can discuss that topic in a different thread, if not then I wont waste my time. You see in my older age I have gotten to understand Proverbs 23:9.

I believe DJI wasn’t ready to release the mavic but rushed it after seeing the GoPro so they wouldn’t lose any customers
I also believe they only shipped out a handful to make this forum happy
I think they are still testing and became aware of some problems and trying to fix before shipping all across the world

Wish they would just say that

Rrally? Didn't know! It's kind of cool! Is the repair process painfull too (didn't needed to...for now)?

Actually I would prefer that DJI sell some spare parts for common repair item. Some of us are competent to take things apart and replacing parts.

Yes it's the flymore package to the UK with confirmed tracking number and expected arrival this coming Wednesday.

Has anyone ordered 2 mavics and want to sell one for 300 on top of what you paid ? Ive posted this on another thread as well. My preorder won't be here until the end of November. I'm leaving the country before November tenth. If you want to sell your second incoming Mavic and will receive it before hopefully the start of November, contact me.

I have references all over online as a seller and buyer.

I dont know about winning. My tracking number now says invalid on newegg website, when yesterday it showed packaging. It still isnt showing up on FedEx website either. I ordered on october 1st. I seen a guy that ordered on the 6th and his tracking number is active and says he will get it in the 26th. Everything in paypal shows completed as well, Nothing pending anymore. I contacted newegg, they cant figure out what happened and emailed dji. Maybe it will update on monday I'm hoping. The invoice still shows shipped, but my tracking number has no info, when yesterday it had info on newegg.
