The battery will self discharge to storage level.
Make sure you recharge it before flying

Hi Coolure, please fully-discharge it then fully-charge it every 3 months, battery life maybe reduced if not used for a long time.

do u really want to discharge it that low? Is not 10-8% good enough for even extended storage? Too low, and don;t yopu risk it actually going lower than healthy for the battery?

Simply set it up in the to discharge after a few days.

I wouldn't discharge to 0, you will likely damage the battery.

As said the battery will self discharge to 50% for storage.

The instruction was to fully discharge it and then fully recharge it once every 3 months, just to give it some exercise, you then store it fully charged and it will self-discharge to 50% and will probably loose another 1-3% over the following 3 months before you give it some more exercise.

If you are using it normally, and never take it below eg 40%,  it may still be good for the battery to give it a full discharge once every 3 months.

Lipos can be over discharged which will damage them, the instruction refers to discharging to 8% (not 0%), and the instructional video (at about 2:52) suggests that over discharge may make the battery unusable.
