Anyone else order on Amazon?  I am hoping the October 31st release date that was displayed when I ordered still holds true and that the November 15th date now shown is for the second batch.

It might be what you ordered,   most of what I have seen that has been shipped,  is just the drone,  not the combo pack yet... not sure just a guess   HAPPY GUY,,, JUST CHECKED NOW SAYS  SHIPPED,,,,, WOOT WOOT  STILL NO TRACKING NOTICE

I am getting a message for my order that stated shipping will be tomorrow.  Hope it will be true.

Ordered the fly more combo early on the 27th and no shipping info yet.

It seems like UK orders are getting the shipped status. I'm in the US and ordered 2 hours after the reveal. I'm happy to see that the shipping company was updated to FedEx.

Im assuming you just ordered the drone not the combo?

Given no Fly more combo buyers seem to be getting updates yet, makes you wonder if the delay wasn't related to lack of batteries in the supply chain.  Since Fly more gets 2 extra batteries - for every fly more shipped 2 drone only or drone and controller only can't be shipped.

Just an idea

Yup. Just Mavic Pro (non Combo).

My guess the delay for peeps who bought the "combo", are because of there isn't enough batteries in stock. This "situation" isn't the first time that had happened, back when i started out with the p3 there was a massive shortage of batteries for weeks after it just launch and i was "forced" to get the single batt combo rather than the dual batt, as i wanted to get up in the air asap. So yeah, my guess is the batteries, is causing the delay.

DJI Ken said this occurred as well but they still sent out the P3's and sent the other batteries at a later date. This would be the smarter thing to do.

yup i've heard about that too, maybe there some other reasons behind the delay . Anyway, if it helps with the data gather my order is Mavic + 3 batts + charging hub and status : pending ,

I ordered just the Mavic with one spare battery. I hope that this last update is real and that they aren't just yanking our chains again. I got the notice that mine will be shipping tomorrow but haven't received any tracking number yet. Will update if I do.

I have the same update with a Mavic and one spare battery ordered.

So not first come first served.  Getting out what they can I guess.
Possibly the multi charger base or even firmware issue with controller?  Those are additional pieces not included with the basic Mavic.

The controller is most definitely included with the Mavic Pro regardless of the combo

I assume all the trouble about the delay is becaus of dji used the same supplier for the battery/cell technology like Samsung did for their Galaxy Note 7!
Now they are short of battery packs and thats why the Combo is not shipped yet!

(I hope you have a sense of humor here)

I will patiently wait here in germany to be shipped my Mavic Combo, and if it should take some more days, "so what" its "karma"!

Update: I just got my FedEx tracking number!

Got my tracking from Fedex as well but it says the number can't be found. Obviously just computer generated and will probably reflect an update by tomorrow. Does yours show any tracking info? Also where did you order from? I was DJI Direct via Newegg.com

Correct. When UPS and FedEx generate those tracking numbers, you end up getting that info but it hasn't been scanned yet. You will see activity as soon as FedEx picks it up from warehouse. But definitely better than just "FedEx" showing under your account.

I received an email that said the Mavic was shipping now, and the battery will ship later. It gave a FedEx tracking number for the Mavic, but it's not showing up in the FedEx system yet.

No, the only Mavic Pro unit you can purchase has a controller included. Anecdotally, it seems only the non-combo ('Fly More' combo had two extra batteries, carrying case, car charger, and some other things) are currently shipping. But they all have controllers.

congrats Ben, I think a lot of people are getting the misconception of first come first serve, This means if your bank clear the payment at the spot and PayPal actually pays first on the spot and credit cards company clear payment 2 or 1 day after.

I hope these people understand this I put my purchase on the 1s of oct but my bank gave payment to DJI on the 5th of Oct. So being that I will not be, in the second wave of shipment. I think I will get my order on my hands by the end of november.

Just got tracking info from DHL showing it shipped from China at 12:00 Saturday (local time?).

My order was made from Canada at 17:20 UTC on launch day from DJI.

Ordered in the UK on launch day.  1 Mavic pro, 1 More Fly combo.  Had the shipping notification yesterday, and a text message with tracking info from dhl this morning.  No idea if they have left out the more fly combo for now, or not.  DJI online account not showing the tracking info yet.  DHL tracking says the package is in Shenzhen.  estimated delivery, 27th oct.
