Ok guys...since DJI is now shipping to direct customers, I'm starting this thread to watch for shipments to dealers or resellers like Amazon, Drone World, etc.

No word yet that I can find.

A few people have posted conformations from Newegg shipments.

Oh wow!    Well... darn.   I chose my reseller poorly.  

Yeah NewEgg was the way to go. Here is DJI's official response to NewEgg orders going out before people who ordered within minutes on launch day. Not a good idea to order from DJI direct. Lesson learned.

As far as Amazon goes... I can't get any info out of their support team.

Strangely on Amazon UK, the drone only package does not have a date but the combo pack will be dispatched 04/11/16.

Technically mine was from Drone World through Amazon.   Ordered on the 28th.

UK or US?  I ordered on October 11th  so I am not expecting much, but when I ordered the release date was October 31st so I have some hope

My strategy was a little different. I ordered the basic Mavic/Controller package THOUGH Amazon, but from a 3rd party re-seller (not saying which one, but they are a trusted seller), for 2 reasons.
1) Ordering from a 3rd party through Amazon, I avoid the tax (over 7.5%) for my state that I would typically have to pay for Amazon.
2) Discover Card has 5% cash back on all purchases made through Amazon from Oct 1 to Dec 31.
3) I did not want to order direct from DJI, because I wanted a better return policy, if for some reason it turns out to be a lemon.
So, instead of my Mavic costing more than $1075, it's costing under $950, with free shipping.
It may be a couple extra weeks, but for more than $125 less, I can live with that. I am expecting by Nov 19, but possibly as soon as Nov 7.

Apple UK is now 19th December for in-store pickup! There's my plan of walking into the store on Nov 2nd out the window!

Latest ive heard from Jessops UK was 'Early November' for first batch of 60 Drones / 80 Fly More Kits but that was before DJI surprised us by shipping.

I didn't preorder because I wasn't in a massive rush. Now, i'm off on holiday mid November; so would be nice to have it. Will be trying Jessops, Heli Guy, Amazon etc. If no luck, c'est la vie.

I just had an online chat with Drone World.   Told them I ordered through them through Amazon.    They said right now they expect their shipment around the 1st of November.

  I ordered through the Apple store USA,it just says ships November. I tried chatting with them to get a more definitive answer,but get about the same answer as the DJI chat, "we don't know?"  I just hope my pre order will be handled in a pre order 1st serve fasion. If I find out they are shipping to stores and making it available for people to walk in and grab them that didn't pre order all hell is going to break loose...

I ordered from B&H Photo Video. They reopen on the 26th. I don't think there's a way to contact them before that, so fingers crossed.

I am one of the Newegg orders that got shipping info this morning...still waiting for it to be updated on the FedEx site, but I'll report back when I see it change

Similar here. I ordered through Adorama, and like B&H they are closed until the 26th for a Jewish holiday. Would be good to know how many they ordered on their initial order, and if someone was monitoring their website during their closure and placed subsequent orders with DJI, because I'll bet none of these 3rd party resellers ordered enough in the first round.

Germany apple store says 21 December

Carolinadronz. First batch. No info yet.

B&H, guess I'll hear when they get back from the holiday. My status says backordered, think that was just a result from the delay that DJI told all the retailers.

Not sure who has ordered from apple like me .

But there no delivery date is 20th December ( wtf going on there )

I've checked my ordered and still saying available November .. so unless this refers to any new orders being placed ?

I ordered from Apple as well. Still has a November ship date. Not sure where that person got a Mid December ship date???

I just looked at the Apple Store. If you place an order now it says ships in 6-7 weeks. That's like first week of December.

Yeah just go into the mavic page as if you was going to purchase now . And there it says shipping 20th December .
But my order i placed on the 27th still says available in November

I placed my order a week ago and in my order account it's still states November shipping.

Right. I just went there and did that,your right it does say 6to7 weeks or December 13th. I hope I made the cut...

Ordered thru Amazon to 3rd part for combo still showing delivery Nov 2 by 8 pm.

Apple may have updated a date for orders placed now. But no date for early adaptors that orders still state November . So who knows

So I guess people who think they are just going to walk into a Apple store and grab one on off the shelf November 2nd might be in for a reality check since the pre order is going out 6 to 7 weeks from a order now...

Well spoke to apple online support and still no real information if that suggested date currently showing on new orders or the November date will be ok for the people already ordered

Sounds like they are going to be working through preorders (both direct and reseller) throughout November.   After that they might start popping onto shelves for walk ins.

ordered from advexure 3rd party, no shipping as of this morning

Ordered from Innovative UAS on eBay. No shipping yet but estimated delivery date is still Nov 3 to 7.

I ordered from BestBuy on the 19th, and it says get it by Oct. 31st.

So other than Newegg, there doesn't appear to be any resellers shipping yet.
