From a DJI Customer Service Rep - "We'll be releasing another shipping update in the near future."

I wonder what this means.

Just cancelled my order from DJI for the pay more fly less combo. Ordered on Oct 20th from DJI and then ordered the Mavic at Newegg on Nov 21st. Just got a tracking number from Newegg that FedEx has my Mavic and will be here by Thursday. Screw waiting for the damn combo. We know the car charger isn't worth it as it wont work with most cars, the bag don't need as the drone will fit nicely in my DLSR backpack. So now I really just need to find 2 more batteries a charging hub and a few props.

Good luck to all of you. The moral of the story is never ever ever ever order direct from DJI again for a drone.

I'd be laughing if it wasn't so depressing.  Enquired via chat whether they knew where my Combo ordered 2nd October was .  They said they didn't have any shipping information.   I said I didn't understand how that could be the case when other people in the UK who ordered after me had been receiving theirs.  

The all too frank reply was that they had given up trying understand shipping priorities as well.....

This is a HUGE (probably wrong) guess - Maybe the reason the US started getting orders so far in the future compared to the rest of the world was that they had extra stock of region specific parts? Looks like EU and US are getting theirs ahead of everyone..

Maybe the power packs are holding things up? Maybe they had a certain amount of stock of the US and EU ones and just filled those orders while waiting for more of those parts and have now run out of any of them.. although Monday's are typically pretty slow to ship.

At this point it's anyone's guess.

Now that they are past the end of September orders crunch, I think DJI is trying to fulfill orders before they hit the 8 week mark since payment confirmation - and any excess inventory before ~8 weeks they divert to dealers.  Definitely some exceptions when there is a country specific shortage (Australia).  We'll see batches go out as the fill a pallet for the USA, UK, or wherever.

DJI-KEN OR Can anyone confirm the delay to for example Australia? Still people late September early October orderes (myself included, ordered 20.25 UTC 1st October ) and pending.
Happy for seeing people getting theirs but must admit bit annoying when ordered 2 weeks after and already received theirs.

This has been the worst shopping experience I have had.

I ordered from B&H Photo Sep 27 11:10 pm, and it was confirmed the next morning, Sep 28.

Today (Dec 5) I received an email that from B&H indicating that it will ship today and I'l get the Mavic Pro Fly More Combo on Thursday, Dec 8, 71 days after I ordered it.

when I mentionned that my october 5th order from HK still hasnt shipped yet Europe and US are far more advanced I received:

Finally! exactly 2 months from the time I ordered which was on the 5th of October,  The 4th dot lit up blue and shipping changed to FedEx.  After seeing order after order here in the US and abroad going out to people who ordered days if not weeks after my order was placed,  it is great to finally see something change on my personal order .  no tracking number yet but the fact that something is happening gives me hope.

Just got assigned shipping company. Ordered on Oct. 17!

Australia ordered 1st October  20.25 UTC Mavic only from DJI. Just got my refund email. Had enough waiting. Cancelled this morning after being thrown back and forth between online chats and no update beside the generic ones. Said why especially US and parts of Europe got more shipping. Was going to wait until the end of week but enough is enough.
Good luck with your mavic. And also a big thank you to Mayoo, DJI-KEN and others I probably forgot to try to keep us cheered up and hopeful. Maybe next year when I see it in the shops I get one. But NEVER EVER pre-order from especially DJI again.
Just hope my refund goes smoothly.  That would be a first

Like you, I may have to cancel mine as well. Ordered on the 4th Oct and people who ordered after me and people walking in the shops have got it already.

Pretty poor since they have had my money since October and show no signs of delivering so I am giving this wait until end of the week and will cancel and probably will not get one in the future.

I have been patient but this is turning silly now.

Gslick I was giving it until end of week before, but after chat today. Had enough. Hope you get some good news. Let you guys know when refunded in case someone is curious. Already says on my account no order. So guess its all happening.
