need help converting dng cinema raw files on a pc i tried slim raw ..not sure if im using it properly anyone that has info on this would be great im using adobe premiere on windows 8

Most current version of Premiere natively supports RAW video straight from X5R camera without any conversion. Google how to import DNG video sequence into Premiere for all the details.

i have the most current version and called adobe they said they do not support this camera even afer i use slim raw it still wont work unless i use media encoder ..then im compressing it ..just want to be able to work on a pc with raw files and its a nightmare

Use Devinci Resolve. Plus it's free and the dogs bollocks.

I can confirm that Adobe Premiere Pro does support these DNG files and edits these files natively as long as you have a powerful pc. Premiere Pro can also use proxies when editing and switch back to the raw files when finished
