forget about it they still didn't ship orders made on first day

I ordered on 10/2.  One letter from DJI posted on another thread suggested that orders placed on 10/2 would ship November 21-25.

I can live with that.

Oct 1st -- still not shipped!

Yeah this is No Mans Sky levels of communication. Wow, so amazing how many orders there are... simply amazing...

September 28th.   Not shipped.   No communications.   Worst launch of a product that I can remember.

Anyone in Europe order from Amazon UK and they say you will have it on the 4th or 5th.

Let me guess... No word when Amazon can deliver either......

It would seem that no orders have shipped for the past 2 days. When DJI say that they hope to fulfil all orders made up to Nov 3rd in 7 or 8 weeks what they really mean is that anyone ordering after midday 28th September (and a few before then) cannot expect to receive their orders for at least another 7 to 8 weeks...

If you look at the community spreadsheet you will see that hardly anything has changed in the last week or so.

ordered on 28th Sept, literally as soon as a I read about the Mavic. I'd been hovering around the idea of getting the Go-Pro platform instead.
However, I didn't order directly from DJI, I ordered via my friendly local authorised DJI dealer. Basically I wanted someone local who could provide support if required.
DJI have pushed the shipping date back now for his orders until 'mid-November' so god knows when I will end up with the item in my hand. Its a little disappointing.

I wonder is there some way I can check where my dealer is on the order list?

I wonder who writes their standard texts?

"we have begun shipping the Mavic Pro from October 21.."

At this point it should be "We began shipping.."

10/17/16 no word on when it will be shipped

I ordered on 29/09/16. Just spoke to DJI chat. They have now admitted that the original message telling us that Mavic was in full swing production was, in fact, a lie.

Still no indication when it will be shipped. Given that DJI have not yet fulfilled orders for the first two days of ordering what do you think the chances are that they will ship all order up to Nov 3rd in the next 7 to 8 weeks... I would suggest zero chance!

DJI direct, just the Mavic. I got my tracking number via DJI online chat after seeing the status on my order page change to "shipped". Fed Ex says it will be here Wednesday! A friend of mine also ordered just the Mavic within a few minutes of me. His will also arrive on Wednesda!y

Ordered on "2016-10-23 02:31:29 (UTC)" and... really, really hoping for one by Thanksgiving. Or before the winter solstice, failing absolutely everything. DJI has the money I'd been saving for a year (originally for a Phantom 4, but Mavic suits what I'm going to use it for way better), so hopefully there can be some movement before I start seriously contemplating coming to China to pick it up myself. (Would that work? I have a family member who might be coming to Shenzhen on business.)

Eh, rant over. Still, it does kinda hurt that this was my first interaction with a company I otherwise liked. And is the 2nd of 3 major (over $300) purchases I've ever made that brought their own set of unexpected difficulties that customer service just doesn't seem that interested in.
