86 flights, but I don't think it's a milestone until I get 1 million feet traveled. My max speed is 55.6 MPH.

It's speed based on your GPS? If so,  it's the same speed as your ground speed, like what your GPS tells you when you are driving a car.

Ground speed is the speed in which the craft is going relative to the ground. So if it was going 45MPH ground speed, you will see the craft going 45 MPH.

Air speed is the speed in which the craft is going relative to the air. If there is no wind, then air speed is the same as ground speed.

But if there is wind, for example, if the craft is travelling at 45 MPH ground speed and wind was blowing against the craft (headwind) at 5 MPH, your airspeed would be 50 MPH.

Another example, if the wind is blowing against the craft at 45 MPH, your aircraft can be going 0 MPH ground speed, but the airspeed is 45 MPH. To the person on the ground, the airplane is going 0 MPH, floating in one spot. But the craft would be going 45 MPH airspeed.
The opposite could also happen. If the wind is going with the craft (tailwind) at 45 MPH, the craft has 0 MPH airspeed and 45 MPH ground speed. I hope that makes sense.

However, I think the drone speed is calculated via GPS, therefore it is the same as ground speed.

speed is distance over time. 45mph is 45mph in the air or the ground. And cars on the ground face wind too. Try talking your way out of a speeding ticket to a cop with that nonsense fluff.

50...welcome to old my friend. Enjoy the AARP mailers (or UK equivalent)
as for talking your way out of a speeding ticket. In America we now have the "Hillary" defense.
