Melbourne here - I cancelled and ordered from Apple.

I used the EPP pricing and ordered the drone for $1391 AUD and two batteries for $123 AUD each. At least Apple won't charge me until they ship.

Well mine is from one of the authorised DJI's eBay store, got it down to $1408. Will try to pick up few batteries from Apple store once they are out.

Let's hope we get it soon.

I have 'ordered' from 3 suppliers without paying a deposit. (I'm a good customer to 2) First supplier with a heads up gets me flashing the plastic!
Then again this may mean i'm dead last in the Ausie race to be first

I ordered from Apple as well on 28/09 with an EPP discount but only got about $170 off.  Wonder why it differs.  Anyway, as they specifically discussed the Apple Store during the release, I expect Apple will have them the week after next.  Apple will most likely put some pressure on DJI to keep to their word, regardless of unexpected demand.

But, we shall see.

I'm calling apple tomorrow to see if they can confirm a date and then may cancel and buy with epp.
Spoke to chat, no word on shipping but a refund will take 3-5 days

I think next week I'll be able to walk in and purchase at apple.

Decided I don't need the combo really anyway and can add care pack after purchase.

"Sorry that I can not advise the shipping date yet.  We’ve begun shipping the first batch of Mavic Pro preorders 21-Oct.

I ordered from a dealer and got this reply today: "I've had a chat to our supplier and it seems all DJI orders into Australia have been postponed, we're in the same boat as everyone else and sadly that means it's been pushed into mid November. I do apologise for the delay, it's been such a hype and we are all super excited..!"

Why can't these Chinese companies honour their promises? If you say you will ship on a first come first served basis from a set date, then DO IT! Why does a whole country get a delayed shipment date? This sort of shameful conduct is why I appreciate companies like Apple who ship their product a day early to make sure I get it on launch day & don't take my money until they do. Real shame that a large company like DJI, that does nice gear, is such a scatter brain at logistics. ANGRY!!!

I'm in NZ and ordered directly from DJI on the 4th. No update for me yet.

I have an extra battery in my order and i suspect the batteries may be part of the reason for the slow roll out.

In nz just received this today in a reply to a inquiry .......we have received news from DJI of a further week's delay on our first shipment of Mavic's that we are all so eagerly awaiting.

We are now expecting our first shipment on the 7th November. Sorry we do not have anymore details on the delay other than a material shortage has caused previously advised dates to be missed.

The good news is that the Fly More Combo's are also coming at the same time.

We will contact you again when your Mavic has arrived and is ready to ship to you.

Sounds similar to what I was just told.

I asked if there was any information on Australia/NZ shipping. She asked for my reference number and said my order, which was ordered on the 5/10 was expected in the 'middle batch' which will be shipping the next time they are stocked up in the ware house.

Fairly broad but at least there was a bit more info about shipping than the usual. She was very helpful and shared what she could at the time.

Looks like we are all getting the same news when it comes to Oceanic orders. Also got the email from Ferntech regarding the pushback to 7th Nov now. I can wait a week

Fingers crossed we start hearing about shipping to this side of the globe soon!

I'll post back here if I hear more.
