I had the same problem. I used pliers. My hands were not unloosing the cap. Best!

I want to buy extra caps but do not see that listed for sale. Have you?

If you can't open it even with a plier, please email support@dji.com and send it in for an exchange. Sorry about the inconvenience. Some units do have really tight caps

My tightness was after I screwed it on by hand--hand-tightened. I was surprised I could only remove it with pliers. Still--can extras be bought? Thanks Thor!

Anyone ever get an answer to the extras thing?  I just sent an email asking but thought I would check on here too.  I did the same, had to remove with pliers and destroyed mine.

I got stuck on this too, however I found it came of easily if you applied no pressure on the top of it, but instead just use your nail in the little grooves to move it anti-clockwise. It's a weird design.

Excellent tip! Just holding it with two fingertips from opposing sides and turning anti-clockwise without applying pressure on the top makes it come off really easily. Thx!
