I tried to install a firmware update for my new Zenmuse Z3 camera and the drone began giving me errors and beeping loudly.
The errors are as followed:
"Main Controller Connection to Centerboard Failed"
"Gimbal cannot receive Main Controller Data"
"Gimbal Roll Reached End Point"
The last time I used the drone, I had no issues and the gimbal and camera were both working correctly. I have attached a few pictures. Any thoughts on how to resolve this?
Have you slightly crashed the aircraft before?
Could you please try to format the SD card and do the update again?
If failed to update, please send me the update log file.I'll help to check it.
You could find the update log file by following these steps:
1. Enable Viewing hidden files in your OS. Below are the websites where you can check how to show the hidden files in your PC.
For The Windows System: http://windows.microsoft.com/en- ... den-files=windows-7
For The Mac System: http://ianlunn.co.uk/articles/qu ... mac-os-x-mavericks/
2.Enter the root directory of the SD card, then find the hidden folder MISC and enter it. There is LOG folder in it.
3.The LOG txt file is under the LOG folder.
Ok , here is a simple procedure that should help .
Calibrate the IMU then immediately afterwards do the Gimbal Full Calibration as well, then before flying do a compass update . This should take care of the Errors.
Please try Donnie's advice and let us know if the issue persists. If the issue persists, could you please provide the LOG file information as Mindy suggested in post #2?
On the go app start at the ( top right corner of main screen go app ) General settings - top tab -main control settings- scroll down to advanced settings - scroll down to sensors - scroll down to the bottom where it says "IMU Calibration "
The camera gimbals auto calibration is under the tab Gimbal Settings
