Mmmmmm Can't enter, won't let me join the group. Not fun on the outside.

Would be nice for a first time drone owner who ordered on 10/01 .. to be able to enter contest .. you know what i'm saying .. i'm still waiting on MAVIC.

It is difficult to enter this competition when my P3S will not fly above 30 Meters without losing signal....perhaps DJI could give away a firmware update!!!

I think some people need to go outside and take some pictures with their drone.  Some are grumpy, some are drunk, and some profess their aversion to social media on a social media page.  The fresh air will do you good!

DJI, is there a chance for people who do not own a drone to take a picture from above with?   there is nothing out there that i want more than a DJI MAVIC PRO!  Hope you get this  message, #HOPE.

I've read where posting drone videos on YouTube is illegal by the FAA without a 107 commercial license, but wouldn't posting a drone-taken photo on Facebook amount to the same thing as being in the commercial realm for advertising the way the FAA sees it?

I believe you're over-thinking it.  In the US, you cannot shoot images or video for compensation.  I don't think a photo contest rises to the level of shoot-for-compensation.

All I see on Google is it's a no no to post on YouTube unless you have a commercial license.

The internet is great at spreading myths and sometimes the truth doesn't get through nearly as well.
The myth about not being able to post on youtube or not being able to monetise those videos is commercial use and will upset the FAA is a popular one but the truth is quite different.
The story comes from March 2015 when one FAA official overstepped his authority.

The FAA's major business is aviation safety, not stopping people share photos and videos that were captured completely legally.

Oh, I think you may have read me wrong, nothing about it I dislike.

Just that I already have six multi rotors and two heli's. Building an Align TRex 700E DFC HV now.
The total disc span of the main rotors is around 1.6m meters. ;-)

Quite honestly, I don't have much interest in Any other drones either...

My Phatom 3 Pro has been excemplary, never a single problem or even an insignificant issue.
I wouldn't wish to take the chance of marring this perfect score. But who's counting.

I am a techie but do not do social media either! I have LinkedIn but do not use it. I agree with you that the contest should be open to all DJI owners and not just the social media outlet. Most companies are doing this as advertising gimmicks and only want you to join the club...

Red Hot , I think John Lennon's  "Cold Turkey " ( Heroin )  was a little bit harder to kick than Nicotine  ( Not by much though ) , when I came off Fentanyl        ( heavy duty opiate )  patches after I recovered from  my accident,  I though I was gonna die !   Just the thought of it gives me the Willies !

I stopped smoking 23 years ago. Talk about breathing easy!.,
This smoker never had any problem stopping, though I had to quit a few friends
who were choking themselves to an early demise, slowly "butt" surely.

Plus got very tired of going home smelling like an ashtray and quite often, one mild headache to go.

DJI cannot delay the competition.... If they waited until Mavic had been shipped then their next drone would have been announced....
