Looking for ideas for a mobile device to use with the Mavic. My current phone is a blackberry and it is a work phone so it will not work. I used my Ipad with my Phantom but unless there is an easy solution I don't want to bother with 3D printing and buying another mount. The unit I purchase will not be activated and will only be used as a device for the Mavic. Perfect solution would be to find a phone that the radio is broken but would still work well for my purpose.

Thoughts...

Personally I'd go for a very high resolution screen one in case you want to buy some VR goggle mount as your eyes will spot the pixels. Look at 1440p or more...yes that's high end. If you aren't going your own VR route rather than the DJI VR then most mid range phones will be fine.

I'd recommend an iOS device.  It seems DJI can do a bit better coding to them than to the massively fragment Droid phones.
