Just received my Mavic pro this morning. It departured HK on Oct 24. Fedex scheduled to delivery on Oct 26.Actually, it's delivered this morning at 9.30. It took only one day from China to California. Pretty impressed by Fedex.

Yep.  Those logistics folks are crazy.  Same deal with me.  Scheduled delivery was tomorrow but I got an email that it was out for delivery.  Fedex showed up about an hour later.  Stoked.

This thing is insanely well made.  I'm astounded at the thought that obviously went into it.  From packaging to how small it is.  The gimbal is nuts.  Batteries finished charging.  I'm going to maiden after I get a little work done.

Enjoy, guys!! Put up some videos, even if it's just random flying/testing. It'll make out wait easier.

For everyone, please DO NOT fly until you have read the manual cover to cover.
The Mavic is full of features and function AND limitations, you need to fully understand all of them.

Confirmed! It comes with a USB type cconnector.

Alright get out there and do some testing (after you read the Manual) looking forward to some reviews from people who actually spent their hard earned money on this baby, good luck safe flying

I really wish that in the 1 week shipping delay that everyone else did the same thing.

Last thread I saw was still awaiting the full manual.. Only the quick start guide was out at that time. Is the full manual available for review now?

And in the Academy section of the GO app, currently Android and IOS should be up soon.

Yes, I cannot stress how important reading the manual is like DJI-Ken says. These things are pretty easy to fly compared to cheaper UAVs, but if you've never flown a DJI drone before you will get confused at a critical moment and wish later that you had read the manual.

Do you know what to do if it is facing you and is approaching a tree/bush to the side of it?
Do you know what to do if you need to force the engines off?
Do you know what to do if it loses signal?
etc...

I'm the kind of guy that never needs manuals for things. But this is different. You NEED to read the manual, or you're going to be in serious hell when you crash it, hurt someone, damage someone's property, etc.

And then have fun!

Maidened mine.  Very stable.  It's pretty gusty here and it had no trouble at all.  Video shot was stable in the wind.  Sucker is fast.  I love it.  Can't wait until everybody gets theirs.  This is by far the best quad I've ever flown.  Blows everything out of the water.

They are talking about flying in a plane or taking a long trip.  I drive with mine all the time at 100% charged.  Not an issue.
