Cancelling my order with BB and waiting until after the new year to buy this damn thing. No point in paying 7% tax in FL if DJI will sell it direct with no tax. What a mess DJI created here

Now, the question is... will the order I placed with DJI Direct in early October even be here before 11/30 ?  

And it's possible that BB will actually ship before Nov. 30, they have probably had it with DJI (just like everone else) and would rather post a worst-case date than get burned agagin.

I have an order with an Amazon vendor too, still slated to be in my hands by Nov. 2 but of course I don't believe it. DJI is simply lying about shipments and availability and anyone who still thinks they aren't must be pretty gullible.

Just Got this..

Yep just got the same notice.   And no... I'm not making it up.   I'm actually relieved as I can release this preorder and concentrate on the one I made on the 28th.

So glad I did not cancel with DJI, they said early November for me...probably for the best either way. Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet.

Ugh... I was really excited to get my Mavic on Monday. Oh well. Cancelled my order from BestBuy and will keep waiting for for my Combo that I bought on September 28th. What a terrible experience. I'm thinking that I'll just cancel with DJI too and wait till I can walk into a store to buy.

Can't even begin to describe how frustrated I am with this DJI crap.... unbelievable.

Not sure why anyone is surprised by this announcement. The same thing has been happening to Apple, B&H and others. It's unfortunate but that's the way this launch has seemed to go.

Same thing here.  Cancelled.  I needed it for November 11th for a Veterans event, won't need it again till spring so I can wait.  

I canceled mine because if they're all delayed I'd rather not pay tax.

True. I am tired of the will it or won't it ship monitoring. If I see it in the store before my fly more combo gets here, I'll pick it up and cancel my DJI order. Until then, I'll just keep waiting..

Uhhh... I have news for you, the vast majority of us who ordered direct from DJI have no idea when our order might get filled, not to mention that they collected our money up front.

I bet best buy had about 10 thousand cancelations in the past hour, lol! What a mess!!!

The fact that BEST BUY is not getting them until at LEAST Nov. 30th now means that there are ISSUES that is preventing DJI from shipping out in masses!!!    This is my opinion and I feel very strongly that this is the situation now.

Agreed, it is downhill from here.  Just people like me spouting off now.  The release date for this thread should be postponed until November 30th

DJI managed to pretty much screwed everyone. Instead of hiding behind your desk, be transparent with retailers and consumers, and it wouldn't have stank so much. Keeping quiet turned this place into a mad house, and i'm sure retailers are dealing with the headaches as well. Should be a lesson for the executive team to learn. And please get rid of the useless Adam dude! where the hell did find him, from a local pond shop??? Promote Ed and Ken!

Hell I'm voting for Ed and Ken for President, beats the hell out of Hilary and Trump.  They both have seen more political action and combat in the past week than either of the candidates.
