I pre-ordered the iPhone 5 from Best Buy years ago which was in much more demand than the Mavic. They delivered on the same date they promised then, I anticipate they'll deliver my Mavic on November 1 as stated at checkout as well

That sure sounds promising Eric!   If they are indeed coming on the 31st they are going to need to start shipping very soon.

Sounds plausible to me...Lets hope your right. Would rather have my fly more package but I would take the best buy order if it was shipped!

I ordered one last night just out of curiosity. If it does happen to ship before my DJI preorder, I don't even know what to say. Personally, I don't think it's gonna happen.

Yeah there will be quite a few angry people around here if Best Buy starts shipping en mass.   They're going to have to start pretty soon if they are to meet their Oct 31st promise.  Maybe by tomorrow night?

He's the one who made the thread stating DJI has stopped shipping...  I think he's permastoned and his moods are controlled by his munchies.

I am hopeful.. like someone else here said, I've ordered the iPhone 6 from them after I missed the preorder day by a few days. The preorders that would arrive on launch day from apple were sold out within hours after preorders started. I had the same feeling then that it was too good to be true. Ended up getting it on launch day.

amazon is posting 1 December for delivery date.
it seems that most resller have sold out and and they will get next order after November.
probably Dji will start fulfilling their direct sales orders.

so if you don't have not placed an order with a resller earlier I advise you hold on you dji order

just to chime in ... i went to my local store bought a gift card and had the manager order it for me using cash around noon today.....

Ordered my backup last night from BB, while keeping my order with DJI open, hope I get it by 30 oct, do BB do delivery on a weekend?

This seems to be the case. It looks like Best Buy keeps tight track over incoming inventory and doesn't oversell.

Actually tried Best Buy last week through the site and it was marked sold out. Tried again yesterday and was able to get one in with Oct 30th delivery date. It seems they are tracking orders with supply, so i guess delivery date is accurate.
This is what i see if i were to submit another order now.

My order information has become unavailable. I would assume things are happening with orders right now.

same here... lets hope they didnt just find out those shipping date is not accurate. lol
