I posted the following to the Best Buy community, hoping someone from the BB site admin side can respond. 13 days away from delivery, they should know with certainty at this point whether or not they can fulfill their "deliver by" date. With the DJI Mavic Pro drone "Deliver By" date in my Best Buy orders page stating November 30th, it is almost certain that Best Buy's distribution center would know at this point in time (13 days away) whether or not they will receive the product from DJI to ship to their customers by this date. Best Buy originally stated to Mavic preorder customers that the deliver by date was October 31st, but just a few days before October 31st, the "Deliver by" date got moved back to November 30th. This was poorly handled by Best Buy in my opinon because they had to know prior to October 27th that the date was getting pushed back.
At this point, we are 13 days away from the Deliver By date. There is no way Best Buy management does not know whether or not DJI will be able to deliver the drone to Best Buy for shipment to Best Buy customer's preorders. Can someone from the Best Buy support team clarify whether or not this will get moved back yet again? I don't mind another delay, as that is out of the control of Best Buy, but I do mind a delay being communicated by Best Buy to their customers just days before expected delivery (as this is what occurred in October).
DJI cannot be telling Best Buy, one of the largest electronic retailers in the USA, that they aren't sure if they will be able to deliver the drones 13 days out of the delivery date. In otherwords, I do not believe that Best Buy management does not know for sure, as some sort of communication between DJI and Best Buy has to have occurred by now. I am almost 100% certain Best Buy distrubution management should know whether or not they will get stock for preorder delivery. It is uncomprehensible to perceive that Best Buy support/distribution mangement is not sure whether or not we will get deliver only 13 days out of ETA.
Please, Best Buy support, provide transparency and communication - Will the November 30th deliver by date be fulfilled? Delays on this item is out of the control of Best Buy, but what is in control is your communication.
