Has your card been charged? Hopefully they forgot to update the tracking in their system, and that it's on the way... Good luck!

Got the tracking number last night about 11:30 PM.  UPS doesn't even say it is valid yet.  They have 25 hours to deliver, as I had it sent to my work where our UPS comes at the same time everyday.  Doubt it will make it by the promise by date again, but at least its on the way.

Just noticed they sent it UPS Ground.  Coming out of Louisville KY, I'm just south of Chicago.  I doubt it will make it here over night, if that't the case I will be getting a hold of Best Buy customer support and seeing if they have anything they do if they don't miss their "get it by" date.

I went into my order and click "make changes" and there was an option to get it by Thursday Dec 1 for $23. Otherwise, free, standard shipping said it would arrive December 6th even know the "get it by" date on the original order said Nov 30th. I selected the Dec 1 for $23. We'll see

I don't have a make changes tab.  I ship for my business everyday through UPS and I don't see it getting here through ground by tomorrow, but nothing I can do but what and see what happens now. Even if I had a choice to speed up the shipping for more money I don't think I would.  Weather is already bad here and will probably only be able to fly a few times on the weekends as it is dark when I go to work and dark when I get home.  Really wish I could have gotten it in October/November when the weather was still decent like we were all told from the beginning.

Here is where I saw the ability to change to Dec 1st deliery by paying $23

I have not had a chance to fly it yet but I am pleased with the packaging and the quality of the product. I updated the firmware on both the Mavic and remote last night and all went well. I will post back tomorrow as I plan to maiden tomorrow morning before going to work.

So, it would seem that people who ordered early are obviously getting the products early (also in relation to their location to the Distribution center). That would be my guess. There is absolutely no way that bestbuy can ship and deliver within a day to meet the "Get it By" Date. I ordered on 10/26, so I'm guessing if early orders are getting shipped, then I'll probably see mine 2nd week of December..:/...First drone purchase...having to wait is ridiculous. I wonder if DJI has screwed up the P4 Pro deliveries as well.. It would suck to see people getting the P4 Pros before the Mavic customers..

It is very possible to get it in a day. Mine was shipped the Friday after Thanksgiving and I received it in one business day which was yesterday.

Now, if bestbuy can make that happen for everyone, then that'll be incredible, if not..then..I guess Dec 15/30 might be the next "Get it By" Date.

Ordered mine on 11-01. It's 11-29 8:41pm local time as I type this. My status still says processing with a delivery date of 11-30.

Well, I am a little peeved and will probably cancel my BB order in the morning.  My order, that up until tonight, said "preparing" has now reverted back to "pre-order" while others that ordered AFTER me have shipping info.  I would buy the regional distribution argument but several reported theirs being shipped from a distribution center only 40 miles from my home.  The Mavic still seems a bit buggy anyway and I am liking the P4P more and more every day.  I like the portability of the Mavic but really, hauling the P4P isn't like I'm packing around a small car, it is portable enough.  I just hate that I feel jerked around by BB after being a loyal (and contributing) customer for years.

Same.  This is the worst product launch I've ever experienced.

I ordered BB on Oct. 21st for a delivery today... didn't look like it was going to happen, just got a shipping notice that it will be here tomorrow! Extremely surprised, as I called BB yesterday and they had no clue as to when it would ship. Of coarse I now also have a Phantom 4 pro on the way.... 2 drones or not 2 drones? That is the question.

You are extremely lucky if yours is truly in "Preparing" stage. Check to see what the "Get it By" date says, as many people have had their date pushed back to Dec 21. I ordered on 10/26, and I see "Backordered" as product status and Delivery date of Dec 21.....I am in no way blaming Bestbuy, but more so DJI on how they could mess up the launch this badly. And of course, the 2nd time I "pre-order" something from bestbuy is for a product that is delayed..as was my 1st preorder ever with bestbuy..
Edit:

My order says preparing also, but it'll say that until the day it actually ships (as late as 12/21); Gizmo on your order details page, go to "Make Changes" and then "Change Shipping Speed", it'll tell you there when your expected date really is.

I went from Processing yesterday, to Back Order earlier this morning, to Preparing just now...weird

My order has flipped from preparing to the yellow "back ordered" three times since 3am this morning.

Well to my surprise, this just showed up at work.  Ordered morning of Sept 28th, delivered just south of Chicago if anyone else is local and wondering when theirs might show.

I guess it's official. Got an email from Best Buy. New expected ship buy date of December 21 with a "we can't guarantee delivery before Christmas" message.

I got that this morning... only for it to change within the last hour to "Backordered' and 'Preparing' which makes less than no sense.

It appears that the recent sporadic fluctuations in Best Buy ordering status are still continuing...

I called Best Buy 3 times this evening.

Best Buy Call #1  30 mins got through to call center op
BB: "Awaiting authorization is your bank's issue"
Me: "Really?  Is that why my order has changed status 4 times today?"
BB: "Yes"
Me: "Well how does that explain how the order status of hundreds of other people has changed today?"
BB: "Well, that's true.  But your issue is your credit card.  Call your bank"
Me: "OK... I'm not believing your scenario, but let's play it through.  I call my bank and they fix whatever the issue is and... what happens to my order?  Does it go back to one of the other previous statuses?  Something else?"
BB: "Your product will be shipped"
Me: "Really???  Shipped??  So, you're telling me that Best Buy has physical product in hand, and when this is sorted out you'll immediately ship it to me??"
BB: "Yes.  That is correct"

Bank Call #1
Me (to bank): Why is this issue happening with Best Buy???!!!"
Bank: "Best Buy hasn't even tried to charge your card.  They could charge $17K and it wouldn't be an issue"

Best Buy Call #2:
30 mins of muzac, then dial tone appear like an operative is going to pick up.  Tone for 30 seconds and then... call dropped!

Best Buy Call #3:
BB Robot IVR Voice: "What product are you calling about?  Was it TV.... or something else?"
Me: "Something Else"

I ordered mine on 11-01-16

I ordered 11-06-16.  I honestly doubt my order will ship by the 12/21 date.  Just from seeing the numbers BB shipped out by 11/30 (from reading forums) I don't think orders placed after 10/15-20 shipped at all.  Expecting BB to get a large shipment right before Christmas to fill my order is wishful thinking.

Ordered Oct. 24. Yesterday it went from Nov. 30 to Dec. 21. TODAY my card was charged and it moved to Preparing with a Deliver by Dec. 5.
Looking forward to it!!!

My order status keeps flipping from back order to preparing. I ordered oct 25, we'll see

I hope the dates hold.  From what I've gathered Best Buy really doesn't know what they're getting and when in terms of product, so from a supply chain perspective it's like managing the unmanageable.

That doesn't mean their customer service has to suck, or that they have to change order statuses 5 times a day based on no new supply information.  It just gets people spun up for no reason.
