Also noticed that. Unless tilt was past defaulted zero.

Cool, I need to find a roof like that to launch off. Then you don't have any random strangers asking you questions (that's my biggest annoyance when flying Inspires, so I usually just try to find quiet places to launch from).

Is that a shopping center?

I believe it's just prop shadow. This happens when the sun hits at a certain angle. But it's unlikely that it's the props themselves since I doubt he enabled the 30 degree upward tilt feature.

I am just wondering how can he had order on the 15 of Oct and got it yesterday the 25. I order mine on the 1st of Oct directly from DJI how is that he gets it first than I do Explain that to DJI FIRST come FIRST serve

how high does it have to be before you can't hear it anymore?

So you are the person DJI shipped to ! Well done for extracting a Mavic from DJI... They remain as rare as rocking horse sh1t....

What software are you using for editing? Any color grading or video mode? Colors look great!

Great footage man, enjoy your Mavic no matter what people say here, your Camera does not have any issues your 2nd video just proofed that!

Just flew My neighbours for the first time, he is a first timer, so asked me to do first flight
was a little to windy really, about 15-20 mph, but video is rock solid, I can't believe this little bird is so stable!
Looking forward to putting the Mav through some distance flying!

Looks much better than the 1st video.  Exposure is a bit too dark.  But that's just a mater of adjustment during flight.  I am guessing the 1st video had the lens protective cover on?  Or perhaps some contamination on the lens.  
Tapping left or right on the screen does not focus left or right parts of the image.  It changes the focus on the entire lens on the object you tap on.  So unless the lens is not parrallel to the sensor the left & right parts of the image should be equally focused.  This leads me to believe it was some sort of obstruction over the lens.  If you leave the plastic dome over the gimbal I would expect flare, reflections and blurring as we saw in the first video.

Yeah man, that second one looks a lot better!

@Fulgerite: completely agree, there is no way you can focus a normal lens so that only one half is sharp. Only special so called "tilt/shift" lenses can do that using the Scheimpflug principle, by deliberatly tilting the lens's optical axis against the focal plane of the sensor.

With all other lenses (including the Mavic's), everything that has the same distance to the lens is equally sharp (or equally unsharp, if misfocused).

So, no idea what happened between the two shots, but glad you have it sorted out now - can't wait to get mine!

The first video is great if you mute it... ;)

I have been flying my Mavic for 2 days now.  I am at the beach in Florida and the winds have been 10 - 15 mph. I see the prop in the beginning of your video.  I have not seen my prop in any of the over 2 hours of video form my Mavic.  That looks like a Phantom to me, especially the sharpness of focus.

If you bothered to watch the whole video you can see the Mavic controller in his hands when he lands it.

I've had the same issue with the right side not being in focus when tapping to focus anywhere other than on the right side. What nobody has managed to address with the original video is how the left side and middle are in focus, but the right side is not at the same time despite everything being far away and at infinity. Surely that should not be able to occur.
