I saw on some of the pre-production reviews that you can remove the RC's control sticks. I gave a pretty good effort into pulling on them and twisting, to no avail. Are they really removable, or is that just not a thing on the production models?

it has been discussed in Chinese board and admins said the production model's sticks aren't removable. so stop before you break yours ;)

Well that's too bad, it seems a little bit harder to pack everything away compactly when you have to keep them on.
