I will ask you a little question...
I've got a Phantom 3 Professional and a Phantom 4.
The HDMI module is on Phantom 3's Radio.
Could I switch it from here to Phantom 4 RC and each other?
Is it complicated?

Why not just use controller with HDMI module to control both (or when needed) ?

It would be a two minute job to re-link to each aircraft.

That would be a simpler solution unless you were only intending using the HDMI on the P4.

I didnt't thought to that... because thought to sell the phantom 3...
But if you link as you said how could run the sport mode on P4?...
Switches on Radios are different...

Different labels perhaps.

I'm sure there are a couple of regulars on the Forum working like this. They might be better qualified to give a reply as I haven't tried this myself.

Moving the HDMI board over is SUPER easy.  But, Aardvark is right, the transmitters are interchangable. On the "switch" p4 = "S" and p3 = "A" .. but it does the same thing.



Basically, it requires 4 screws on the back, remove the plastic piece and then 3 screws to undue the board. You have to unclip 3 ribbons, 2 are kinda small so be careful. Pull it out, put the new board in and carefully put the ribbons back in place,t hen the plastic cover. It was really one of the easiest mods I've done on the phantom, adn the video above is pretty good.

Strange thing: i have a phantom 3 advanced, and have installed the HDMI module and a DBS antenna for better range, then i bought a phantom 4 and used my phantom 3 advanced controller for the antenna mod. which all works fine. I always though as far as range goes the phantom 3 a was better but after the new controller updates i found that the phantom 4 had MUCH better range than my Phantom 3 advanced.
