lol that is a pretty lopsided number!

This may be small consolation but the fact is we get ETA information from our suppliers -- DJI in this case. We hope the information is accurate but in some cases it's a moving target and changes from time to time. In the end, we know what we're getting when the truck arrives and is off-loaded and an inventory count taken. We then begin filling back-orders oldest first, in the order we received them.  FWIW we are as eager to get these and send them to you as you are to get them from us. We appreciate your patience.

Hi Henry, appreciate you taking the time to chime in here! A lot of us have events planned around aerial footage usage/etc - as such, even if it's bad news, it would be helpful to know what the Queue looks like and how far through it you are (in terms of order dates). Lets the rest of us plan accordingly. Thanks again for taking the time!

Yes, why can't they give us basic information like that? Is my order in the first 50 at least?  I wish they would tell us. They say it is confidential.

I just got off the phone with B&H.  This was the first guy I spoke to that did not sound like a drone and had independent thought.  It was refreshing.  Anyway he put me on hold and spoke with the buyer and they are saying Dec 15th but possibly sooner.  It is all up to what DJI decides to do.

Thank you Henry. The big question for me is, since B & H is a very large reseller, why have you only received a small number of units?  We hear stories of other retailers having priority status - why doesn't B & H?  The other question I have is why your CSR's have been giving out different information- you only have to read this thread to see what we have been dealing with.

Anyway, thank you for coming on here. I probably won't order another drone from you but anything you have in stock - I'm a fan.

I called B&H today.  They did receive 540 units from DJI in their first order.  Interestingly, I didn't get my Mavik Pro shipped even though I ordered in the first 30 minutes of it being on their website.  The guy I chatted with online last week said they would have their new shipment from DJI tomorrow but when I talked on the phone to one of the sales guys tonight he said he had no info on when they would be receiving anything from DJI.  I'm done with B&H.  They have a great reputation in the photography industry, but I ordered on 9/27 within the first half hour of the release.  540 units were shipped to B&H and this guy did not refute that.

I will never order from them again.

they pre ordered 540 unit but reiceive 10-20 max

in fact you still wait your ordered made on 27 sep

Just want to say that this was my first and most likely last order with B&H. Watching everyone else get drones ordered in mid October is quite frustrating when I ordered mid day on Sept 28. Maybe not fair to B&H but somehow other vendors had the pull to get the job done.

If you call shipping just a small percentage of what those other vendors have ordered "getting the job done".

I canceled B&H order and Order it again through Carolina Dronz. Carolina Dronz said they will get Mavic on Next wed and following wed 11/30 and available slots.

Yes sure they will full fill all their 2000 Orders, also agree with you Carolina Dronz is much much bigger online retailer when you compare it with Apple, Bestbuy & B&H .

I believe that is very possible.    I must have been one of the first person to order from B&H. I was refreshing the website on launch day waiting for the item to come up. One of the reasons why I think they haven't received any units is because during the time they were initially shipping out, B&H was on Holidy for the entire week.

I contacted B&H today and of course they told me nothing as usual.

Sounds like the people at the Apple Store is getting pretty pissed off, when I spoke to a rep there, I was told I was the 10th person to call that morning

Yeah really wishing I'd made my bet with another vendor. I have always hade great experience with them in the past but this is getting ridiculous. I know the issues primarily are on DJI production but I would imagine they were enough of a player in this space to ATL east have a few order filled. The only thing I can think is that they waited before placing orders to DJI.
I know a lot of people went with them because their site said they would ship by 10/31 when others said they were sold out.
Just venting and angry I haven't been waiting in line with Apple. Prob would have it by now or at least by the end of this year.

Yea, starting to feel the same. Thought B&H was a bigger player than they appear to be with DJI. It is reasonable to assume DJI is the main problem but I'm beginning to think B&H may have dropped the ball on this one. The lack of any useful updates, good or bad, is what I am finding most unacceptable currently. Perhaps time to move on...

People that ordered the Fly More Combo from B&H AFTER the 27th, you're in luck.  You just moved up the waiting list by one.  I canceled my order.  At this point I don't care whos fault it is.  This long with nary a useful peep from either B&H or DJI.  I can live without the thing.

Well, I emailed again last night and got this response this morning:
        

Thank you for contacting the Customer Service Department at B&H Photo Video and Pro Audio. Unfortunately, we still do not have an ETA for the Mavic itself. We are expecting a significant shipment of the battery at the end of the month, but I cannot guarantee your order will be covered. Please let us know if you require any further assistance. Thank you, we appreciate your business.

I ordered spare props (which have been in stock for a while) and 3 extra batteries in a different order from my Mavic. Definitely debunks the rumor of a battery shortage.

Looks like I may end up with 3 spare batteries before I have my actual drone...If DJI ACTUALLY sends them the battery shipment.

In terms of my order not being covered, I order on the 2nd of October...
