Yeah, this is starting to feel like Best Buy all over again.

you never know.  an optimistic view could be that beach camera reserved some stock for their walmart storefront and only now listed it, knowing they have a confirmed shipment coming from DJI before next week.

I didn't fall for it this time.   I'm starting to become suspicious that there will be no reseller shipments until after Thanksgiving.   

That dude they booted from the forum that had the Ron Jeremy avatar?  Yeah it appears he was right when he said 'yeah I've been through this before and you'll be lucky to get them by December'.

I too purchased one the Mavic bundles from Walmart/Beach Camera.  I am also in the camp of 'too good to be true' but might as well roll the dice.  I did also watch the 'stock' go down to zero.  
I also sent beach camera an inquiry as to the validity of Walmart's claim to have this item in stock, we shall see!  Finding a Mavic has become my new hobby.  I really don't know what I will do when I actually get one.
I'll need a new white whale.

Since no one has them, I took a chance, nothing to loose.  IF I don't get it, no one else is either.  KEEPING MY FINGERS CROSSED,and a few toes.

Walmart does sell directly and they throw in lens cleaner with extra cloths and a VR viewer for $999

I believe they do and dji is shipping out to their reseller first than customers on their website so if I was you I would run and get one in Walmart because many reseller have stock, dji shipped thousands to their reseller first.

you know what i was thinking? i bet they're just going to ship those stupid 'vr' goggles by themselves and not the Mavic.  i bet that's why they were bundled together, in order to have the in stock status, only to ship just the goggles.

That's exactly what I'm thinking as well.  There will be a 'not all items will ship at the same time' email.  Saw some yelp reviews where they shipped a phantom 3 in an after market case but when the guy got his package it was an empty case.  No drone.  Will be calling 'Beach Camera' tomorrow.

same here..the reason i thought of this is because buydig.com has the same deal as walmart including the fly more combo. they also state with one day delivery get your order delivered by Nov 1.   but during checkout each item was separate making me think that items might ship separately.

I awoke to a cancellation order from Walmart on a mavic. oh well, hope you other guys have better luck than I did.

Just called Beach Camera, lady was really nice, they do not have it in stock, won't ship until November 30th.  Canceled my order with them.  The search continues!

i spoke with them also and the CS rep told me the same thing.
FYI BuyDig.com and BeachCamera.com are the same company.  

All of the resellers appear to be lining up with the same date now:   November 30th.    I think that's pretty much when they expect to be able to actually ship Mavics in any quantity.    I now firmly believe that the people at the top were aware that they couldn't make Oct 15th, never intended to make Oct 15th, and even December is an unexpected rush that requires them to manufacture round the clock to meet.    They screwed us on these dates for the sole purpose of undercutting GoPro.

FYI, i canceled my walmart order.  I spoke with beachcamera customer service and he said that the mavic was on pre-order status, stating that shipping will happen around nov 15.

I called Beach Camera to cancel but nothing has changed with my order status yet. And it's Friday, so I don't want to give them time to ship something out to me to lock me in.

I got an email saying my order was cancelled.

i got two emails.  one from beach camera customer service after telling them to cancel (email came as soon as i hung up the phone).
i got another email from walmart(30 minutes after the beach camera cancellation email) letting me know they had to cancel my order.  however i think i would have still got this notice without talking to customer service.

Shouldn't you be able to cancel your order through Walmart?   They are the ones selling the item even if they are using a reseller to fill orders.   The responsibility rests on them.

This feels like when the PS4 first came out....Waited what seemed like an eternity. Kept hitting the refresh button at game stop at 2AM on a Sunday morning, then bam. got one. it shows up three days later got it all plugged in..blue light of death. wouldn't boot up. Call sony..lines busy with all the others who had the same problem. tow weeks later..got a refurbished replacement. Sony give me an extra 6 mo. warranty and 6 months free on PSN. Love being a consumer. Gotta have it right now. I ordered mine on the DJI site last week...I know it's going to be a wait and oh well.

and the charge that's pending on my card is from Walmart, so... Ugh. The moment this charge goes through I'm disputing it I guess.

It will likely stay in a pending state until the Mavic ships. They do this to allocate the funds on your card. However, it DOES deduct from your available credit, which is the point. Now, if the shippment is delayed until June, that amount will hang on your card until then, as you have no way to cancel.

In the end, I am assuming your Mavic will ship about the same time as all other orders, some time between Nov 15 and Dec 15.

Hope I am wrong, and it does actually ship by Nov 4, but I would not hold my breath.

Oh, I know it's not coming by Nov 4th. The Walmart chat agent basically lied to me. Cool.

I called Beach Camera and they assured me my order is being cancelled. I guess I just have to wait.

Wondering if anyone kept their order that they placed through walmart or buydig.  Did anyone get any shipping updates or are these mavics also on back order?
