I think I have problem with p4 sharpness, can you check?

Whats the ISO level ?

Looks soft on the left side much like one I returned (exchanged) for another P4.

There is some videos on YouTube where a guy opens the back of the (P3) camera and slides the sensor slightly to center it up better in the sweet spot of the lens.  Loosened a couple of screws and slid it slightly.  Pretty much trial and error, but it did sharpen up the photos afterwards.  Under warranty maybe get an RMA and send it in with the photos.

ISO seems to be set too high! Turn your ISO down to 100-200.

In the link in your first post, your shutter speed was 1/13 of a second..  That's too slow.  For stills, you want a fast shutter speed to avoid motion blur.   

Your ISO was 600...  Thant's too high  (High ISO settings introduce grain).    Also the sun is washing things out.

In your second post, your shutter speed is 1/30 second.  It looks nicer due to the lower ISO.   

The slow shutter speeds make me think that you might be using an ND filter.   They should be used for video and not stills..

Fore stills, do not use an ND filter, set the ISO to around 100 and let the camera choose its own shutter speed.
