Also got 10/05 (Europe) and I bet I will receive it near Christmas... If Amazon does not get priorized for Santa Specials.... Maybe Easter holidays then?

This feels so random...

Great way to f*** with paying customers.
I hope DJI atleast pays their forum staff well with all the millions they save due to our money.

Well on the basis of release, it appears that from when they started making these things they are making about 3 or 4 a day  !   oh well for my Oct 2nd order i guess,  time it gets put back a few more times, it will be delivered in time for Karma 3 or 4 to be released!  so it may actually not be such a hot potatoe then after all !   and by the time the Yuneek micro 2 comes out it may be behind !     LOL,  only joking and trying to make light of this annoying situation

I wouldn't believe a word that DJI says. I ordered on 29/09/16. They told me two weeks ago that it would take one to two weeks. Last week  (Friday) they told me it would 1 to 2 weeks... This morning they told me that it "could" be shipped in November.

I notice that NOBODY seems to have an order shipped today. I am hopeful I might see my Mavic by the end of November. Those ordering in October would not seem to have any chance of a shipment until late November at the earliest.

You need to know that DJI is NOT shipping first-come first served... We know that from the spreadsheet. We also know that they have not even shipped all orders made on 27 and 28th September yet, let alone orders from 29th and 30th.

The only thing that we know with 100% certainty is that we have been lied to.

I don't know why you wouldn't believe me. I took a picture and then ran back to work, it is a little blurry because I just snapped a picture to send to my girlfriend while running out the door.

When I get home I'll post some unboxing pictures. But that box has the warning on it that DJI puts on it's boxes, also the brown tape on top said something like Imagine more we could do or something weird like that.

It's not he doesn't believe you have your Mavic, it's the date that you ordered that he doesn't believe.  I'm not seeing where you ordered on 10/5

I ordered from Newegg, only because DJI didn't take Discover card and then I realized Newegg sold it and they take Discover... I tried ordering from the DJI website.

So much for shipping in the order received.....

So far Many October orders are getting shipped to Australia / Hong Kong and Singapore

Well the thing about buying from Newegg, I think newegg ordered a set amount. So as long as I ordered before they were out of stock and Newegg was Customer number 1 (even though they ordered 1000, random number just go with it) they get their shipment of 1000 in.

So I am a child of customer 1, meaning they are shipping in order of time of order, but Newegg ordered before me and I ordered from newegg so I get to piggy back on customer order number 1 of newegg.

I think a lot of people are forgetting that retailers are customers who order shipments as well. They don't just get random stock.

Ordered a fly more combo on 10/22. By the time I get mine the updated version will be coming out.

I have the following orders placed:

10/21 DJI.com Drone only
10/21 Local Hobby Store drone only
10/24 Best Buy.com Drone only (Ship date moved to 11/30)
10/28 B&H Drone only

Got 4 irons in the fire.  Well see what happens.

I think we are learning a valuable lesson here which is to never order directly from DJI again....

Why would u think is shipping from Hong Kong? Just curious.

They are shipping all units directly from Shenzhen, it shouldn't need to go through HK.

Besides, less than 5 units has been shipped to customers' hands in Hong Kong.
(I don't know why my location is in Singapore. I'm in Hong Kong)

This is the exact question/answer i received when  i messaged the amazon UK seller direct so this is my reasoning

Q: Is this november 4th a confirmed date? If i bought today would I get it on the 5th?

Explain how that is on me when I'm going off the information given to me via chat and website of a delivery date of October 15? I can't predict the future and I assumed DJI was not being deceptive. I had no idea this fiasco was bout to take place otherwise I would NOT have sold my P3A.

You may be right.  I don't claim to be a lawyer (and wouldn't if I was) so I'll just sit back and watch

It's going to be interesting if the shops get the Mavic before deliverydate of all people ordering it at DJI. I guess a lot of cancellations of the orders will follow.
