Because he did order from DJI direct.....
Amazon was just the storefront.

Maybe DJI is taking care of their venders first. Congrats on the new delivery. Your lucky and seem to be the first to get the combo. Let us know how it all worked out.

Couldn't agree more as to why customers order direct with DJI and other vendors distribute before DJI. Really terrible to treat your direct customers this way.

Everyone keeps asking why DJI aren't shipping much, but that fact is they are, but mainly to dealers.

While the direct orders are slowly shipping, dealers are getting thousands. They're all either already en rooute to dealers or sat in the dealers warehouses waiting for the official launch next week. Some dealers have had more stock delivered than what they have in pre-orders.

I ordered from Amazon 2 days ago and they confirmed via chat that they had my machine already in stock in Luxembourg, ready and waiting, and it was waiting to be 'released' for delivery next Friday.

For big dealers to function, they need to know how many they have to sell and when they're going to get them. DJI is having to play a balancing act. They'll be trying to honor their commitments with dealers but at the same time trying to keep direct orders flowing.

I ordered on 5 October with DJI website, but I will get it in January 2017 ,  they don't even give me a date to delivery to spain  and  yesterday I ordered to Amazon UK and the mavic will be arrive on 5 November to spain....how can? Very sad about DJI  they way they treat their customers

My Oct 1st order from DJI was looking like mid-Nov (guessing of course) so I cancelled after ordering from Amazon and speaking to Amazon chat. Plus they don't take payment until they ship

Have you tested the car charger yet?
I might have to get me one separately for charging on the go. Would also get an appropriate powersupply so that i could use it at home as well.

This is what happend. On Sep 27th at one point, DJI Store was crashing. So what they did was simply redirected their store page link to Amazon DJI store page. So those Amazon DJI customers are indeed customers who came to order at the DJI store..

So I've just ordered via Amazon (France) and I've gotten my confirmation email, saying no delivery date is available. For people ordering via Amazon EU, did the confirmation email initially come without a date, or did you get immediate confirmation of shipping dates in that initial email?
I sat on the fence thinking DJI would honour the Sept orders first, but as there's radio silence on shipping dates, I went ahead on Amazon.

That is true... What is even more true is that most people who ordered directly from DJI have NOT received their orders and have no prospect of receiving them anytime soon... It is all a matter of balance and perspective Ken....

I ordered a combo direct from DJI on 28 Sep 00:30 UTC and it is scheduled for delivery to me in Australia tomorrow.

Sorry i just got back to check the thread.  Looks like you've already found some video's of the bag so i won't post a new one.  I will say that the bag is very nice and i'm happy i got it.  Originally when i ordered it, i was just expecting to toss the bag and get a third party bag but it really is nice and holds everything well, i definitely recommend it.

Hmm I am appraising the bag that came with my Mavic Combo.   Nice bag but it may struggle to hold the entire Combo pack. The video above wrt loading the bag is not really how DJI intend it IMO.

1. How many batteries can I carry in the Mavic’s Shoulder Bag?
Four. One mounted on the Mavic, one at the bottom of the bag, and one in each of the two side pockets.

Of course the Combo includes 3 batteries not 4.  I reckon the drone slips into bag much easier head down (gimbal first).  Then a spare battery in each of the two side pockets. Leave some room beneath the second compartment for the multi charge beneath the remote. Then the Main charger could fit int he front pocket.  Be struggling to fit the car charger as well though.
