When I put the Mavic into the RC, the Home button is obstructed.  This is a real pain if the phone locks or you need to switch apps to get rid of a pop-up.  You need to pull the left mouting bracket away from the phone to tap the button.  

Just put your phone into plane mode - and nothing will pop up

I agree, its a bad design.

Hi all,

I am just to about to upgrade my phone (currently Apple looking at a 6S/7 Plus but may be swayed to Samsung S7/S7 Edge). I saw the thread about enabling the 'virtual home button' on the iphone via the Assitive Touch feature in General>Accessibility, which overcomes the need to physically press the home button. I also have seen the assistant menu function on the Samsung S7. Does anyone else have experience with this and does it overcome the inability to physically press the home button?

There will be Mavic 2 by the end of this year to fix that design flaw Just kidding.

Turning on AssistiveTouch is a great method. But it is just used as a Home button temporarily. If there is a hardware problem causing this issue, you need to repair in the Apple store. Or if there is a system issue with your iPhone 6 plus, you can try Joyoshare UltFix if you don't mind. As a professional repair tool, I hold that it can solve your problem successfully.
