On your first video, I notice that the footage jumps at 0.16s and multiple times after 0.22s.  Do you know what was causing those jumps?

Thanks, this was shot around Wellington, New Zealand. Not sure why it shows Japan though.

The Mavic is the perfect tool to explore and capture the beauty of Nature.

you got yours? already? or still waiting?

Nope, still not. I do not believe that any shop within the Netherlands can supply a Mavic at this moment.
Have asked for some concrete information at my dealer, do not mind to wait but not knowing is the hard part.

Did you update yours with the new software and fly again?
Any new video material?

Virgil, kun je ff iets testen. Wil graag weten of iets werkt zoals het hoort. RC en telefoon aanzetten, mavic aan. Onderzijde C2 indrukken en ingedrukt houden, tegelijkertijd scrolwiel rechts(setting) even draaien. Nu wordt de horizon aangepast. Wil weten of dit zo werkt en of de gevoeligheid van de camera verandert op hetzelfde moment, dus wordt het beeld nu heel licht of blijft dit hetzelfde?


Asked about a certain feature to adjust the horizon level, cannot test myself. Was wondering if the horizon tilt would change with C2 and settings dial and the exposure of camera would remain its setting. Video on youtube showed a bug with this feature.

Heb gedaan wat je zei, de gevoeligheid van de camera veranderd wel maar misschien heeft dit te maken met de standaard exposure functie.

Thanks Virgil, we'll see if DJI keeps it this way or maybe do some small tweaks

Great footage, looks absolutely beatifull!
What video settings did you use, recorded with DLOG of ART profile? Exposure AUTO?
And also did manual grading or used a LUT(what lut exactly)?

Well they did promise to TRY for sending every ordered and paid Mavic uptill 3 Nov.. Meaning ordered from DJI directly. I ordered mine 09 Okt from a dealer, not expecting a whole lot this year.

im trying to get an extra battery this year, but it seems that wont happen 2

I went up to the mountains near my house and shot some video with the Mavic. Temps were in the 30-33f (-1 to 1c) and the Mavic performed beautifully! I hope we get more snow soon and my polar pro ND filters come soon to help with the brightness...

Hey Anoniem thanks.
I recorded it using Art I believe. I will have a look later as I don't have it with me right now. I didn't change the standard setting. So whatever that was that is what i used.
The Exposure was auto I have played around with the ISO just to make it IMO the way I wanted. And no grading was done.
I have to say I have been really impressed with the quality so far. I have a few more videos coming when I get time to cut them. My 6 year old MBP is not enjoying 4k all that much.

Maybe final cut is something for you? Its more advanced with some sort of same basics

looking forward to doing some bike shots next year. The mavic pro is in hand, but the bike is tucked away for winter now, snow coming Thursday.. BMW R1200Gs. And if you think its flat there, try Saskatchewan Canada. 4 days before you can report your dog is lost and out of site!  But my son lives in British Columbia and great windy roads and scenery there.
