Anyone ever used one for any other DJI products?  I have had my fair share of drones and quads ETC, but never a DJI product and while I'm still waiting for some sort of a shipment update, I saw an I-Pad mini fits in the Mavic controller (of course mine is too old) so instead of dropping another $300+ on another I-Pad I found a list of tablets someone reccomended to use with a Phantom 4.   The RCA Voyager II happened to be on Amazon for a whopping $49 shipped to my door with prime.  It should be here Wednesday and who knows when the Mavic will show up, but just wondering if anyone has ever used it with DJI Go and if it performs well or not?

Interesting and could be a cheap solution.  Post back when you find out how it works.  When I quickly checked the size specs in Amazon, I noticed it was quite thick in depth perhaps?  The controller arms on the Mavic are spec'd at 6.5 to 8.5 mm for thickness it will accommodate.  Do you think the tablet might be to chunky to fit in?

I am not counting on it working with the "grips" on the side of the controller, but for $50 I figured it would be worth a shot, (after all I have 1k sitting in a foreign companies bank account with 0 information on delivery status) If it isn't practical to use for the Mavic I have my I-Phone and I'm sure I could find a use for a $50 tablet.

The DJI GO app needs a lot of processing power to properly run the app. That's why older iPhones and Android devices will not work.
For $49, I really don't thing it's going to run the app very well.

That was my initial thought as well.  I was looking here (https://www.phantomhelp.com/Tips/18/best-tabletsphones-for-dji-go) and it was listed, I assumed that maybe someone had done some testing with it, but for $49 how could I go wrong?  It's worth a shot!

It only has 1GB of RAM, I'm sure it's not going to work.

Or, for ~100, you could buy a used iPad mini and feel confident in the abilities of the device -

I see that the ipad mini 2 also only has one GB of ram?  If thats the case and it will not work I will cancel the order and go with a used IPad.
