Hi folks,

I've had a few flights on my Mavic now, and I'm struggling with the sticks a little.  I think it is combination of the short sticks, and quite high stick spring tension.  The result is that getting the sensitivity right is tricky.

I don't suppose anyone has opened up the TX to see if the sticks can be adjusted a little have they?  Either in length, or tension!

If the sticks are too sensitive, you can go into the Main Controller Settings, then Advanced Settings and adjust the EXP, Sensitivity, and Gains to your liking.

I think it is more me being fussy about the mechanical setup.  I find it difficult to do slow pans, and keep them nice and smooth due to the short sticks.  Even adding a load of EXP etc in, doesn't help with the short sticks.

It's something I will probably get used to with more hours flying, but I do wonder about seeing if I can DIY some longer sticks in some way!

There's also Tripod mode to assist with slow flight.

I have been playing with that mode, and it does work great.  I do have the occasional need to transition from a slow pan to forward flight that is quite fast, but I can probably work around that.

Out of interest, is the way in to the Mavic TX via screws, or is it clipped together?

I don't know as we have pre-production units and I would advice against it anyways.
