Important Notice Regarding Phantom 2 Firmware v3.10

There have been a small number of reported issues with the latest Phantom firmware, v3.10. In response to these reports, DJI has proactively suspended this firmware update.

If you already updated your Phantom firmware to v3.10, please reset your firmware to the prior version (v3.08) immediately. To do this, connect your Phantom to your PC, launch the DJI Phantom Assistant software, and follow the standard procedures for updating your firmware. V3.08has now been designated as the latest version, and your Phantom will be reset.

If you have not yet updated your Phantom firmware to v3.10, and your current firmware version is v3.08, no action is necessary.

If you are running an older Phantom firmware version, DJI suggests that you update to v3.08 now.

Check your firmware status and apply any available updates by connecting your Phantom to your PC, launching the DJI Phantom Assistant software, and clicking “Upgrade”.

iOS Note: Some iOS users have reported issues when using Phantom firmware (v3.08) with the iOS VISION app (v1.0.46). To address this issue, the iOS app has been updated and is now available in the App Store. If you require the VISION app to fly safely, please update to the latest version (v1.0.48) before flying. No update is required for the Android version of the VISION app.

Thanks for telling us now work on an update and make it good so we dont need to update all the time.

DJI, perhaps consider a new Topic heading like "DJI announcements" where only you can open up threads. It would be great to have an overview of new Firmware/software releases, current problems, warnings etc.

So why is your site still showing 3.10 as the latest? You need to get your crap in gear jerking us around. Fix your support site.

DJI seem able to send out marketing emails ok.... you would sort of expect them to send out alerts especially where there are safety risks or potential risks to our property.  I assume that as all units are coded they would even have a database of who has what and what FW they are running.
I suppose its standard 'don't accept jack responsibility'....... 'what fly away'....

30 c today and we have seen 36c a couple of weeks back!  But last Thursday it was 12 c !

The weather here is very mixed,

Yes, that would be construed as hot in NZ! For those of us in the northern hemisphere, this is summer "down under", and the formula to convert C to F is "divide by 5, multiply by 9, add 32", so Rod's 30C is our 86F!

It is only 62 F here, burrrrr Gerry you should get a quadcopter simulator so you can pretend you are flying outside until the weather gets better.

Fortunately I never updated, it was a rushed out 'fix' for the Whitehouse.

took the V3 out for first time after cycling the V2.   Before hand I cal'd the transmitter manually as you posted Gerry,  gimbal worked perfect then....  Then while in the field in 20-30 Mph winds, on a 63f day - after a fantastic brunch with the kids and I put down three batteries once I programmed the controller to Mode 2 (good think I brought the mac with me).....  didn't get above 100'/33m due to winds but  all good on 3.08, 1.043 and camera load 1.25 which is where I will stand for some time.

i'll pop another pop and try to manually calibrate again hoping it stays in Mode 2 then all is perfect in the DJI realm with me.

Gerry - sorry about the mess you are in.  It was like that last year also when I was up there the week after the SuperBowl.  Thanks for staying up there and putting up with that crap and paying all those high $ taxes..   I've move from ChiTown 15 yrs ago and smashed my snowblower with a sledge hammer on the way out and never will buy another one!

First - thanks for your commitment that you personally made in probably a really shitty time of the US!  

Im also retired, but pay taxes and when I stop up your way in July for the 1 week of summer I'd look ya up if this forum had a PM function,,,,  maybe by May we can get that.............

while I've learned not to expect the new,

I have current versions of:
1.0.48 Vision App
1.1.9 Camera
3.10 NAZA

Upgrading actually seemed to fix a camera glitch (where the App would close if I moved the camera). Is it safe to fly with the Phantom in version 3.10? What problem might I encounter? Motors and Home Point reset seem to be doing OK. Haven't flown it/ calibrated compass yet.
