A few people in another thread have reported having their fly more combos shipped in the last day.

Still waiting on my standard Mavic to update, Holding off on booking an international work trip in case this thing shows up in time that i might take it along with me.. Not liking my chances though.

I got mine through PB Tech...
Site says nov 14 (combo). Let's see

I have a 7 November wish from ferntech....not there fault if dosent come when they say pretty obviouse they are still making these things and launched a bit soon

I still waiting too lol they seem to have the combo package before the basic one?? So have been asked if want to upgrafe and dont loose spot in line with them.....just had a holiday so funds mmmmm i wish lol

Anyone in nz or auzzy having much luck?? Really want to know if other retailers other than dji themselves have shipped any yet?

Mines stuck in customs

I pre-ordered mine (combo) through PB Tech and haven't heard anything, so while I was there yesterday I asked their drone expert and he said they weren't expecting any more stock until January. I hope he is wrong, and just talking about if you order now, so i have emailed them for an update.

Man i hope he is soooo wrong! I got mine through ferntech and they seem to say its not that far away....it keeps pushing another week then another.....staeting to wonder :-/

Suck stuck? or just normal customs stuck?

I've found previous shipments from DJI to go through customs very quickly. Usually Pre registered with customs while it's still in HK and then goes through instantly.

When was yours ordered? getting pretty close to the wire for mine to turn up in time before i leave overseas.

The good thing I guess is that a couple of firmware releases will have happened by the time we get ours so most of the problems will have been solved, so safer flying for us! Been good to take the time while waiting to view all the instructional videos, and learn some of the lessons, like calibrating the sticks slowly that seems to fix the controller problems. In the meantime I'm still loving my phantom 3 :-) and can't wait to try the Mavic. Everyone I know overseas who has one is just absolutely stoked with theirs.

Interesting.. Maybe they're flying them around in the customs building..
Hopefully they get that sorted and start clearing them quickly for us.

If you ordered the basic package there proberly wishing u had of got the one with more batterys lol....i be peeeeeed too if it was messed up! ;-)

Yep ....is torture not having it but nice to see what its doin like in the real world and hopefully runs like a dream by the time it arrives :-) :-) wish i had another drone to at least play with haha

Been a week sitting with customs or DHL, or what ever.
Box dosn't looked touched so not sure what the issue was.

Any drone user groups or whatever in Kapiti?

No news. They said they have a order of 400 units that is supposed to arrive someday, but DJI gives them no updates whatsoever.

Mine has been fully charged for now and expected arrival 21st monday nz :-) :-) yessssss!!!

It also says below that they may have to order the item..

I saw this yesterday and called. They checked the system and found none in stock.
No surprises there but worth the shot.

Back to waiting on DJI..

Yep, couldn't see any point going through a store when I can get it delivered to the door

I just saw on the news you can have your Pizza delivered by drone in 5 minutes in NZ. Probably not a Mavic.

I was in PB tech Penrose on Sunday, so checked again and was told they are not expecting their next shipment till January. Ferntech is still advertising December delivery, so might give them a call tomorrow.

So i just picked up my fly more combo from PB Tech - after a surprise notification that it had arrived. Nice surprise for Christmas after i had resigned myself to not getting it until January. So looks like stock rolling into NZ at last.
