Hello Guys,

We will do drone shots in Georgia and the thing is we will be +2000m high.

What do you guys know flying drones in the mountains? I will take my battery HUB, so I can warm my batterys.

The Inspire 1 manual says to be careful when flying above 4500m due to altitude density. If you're flying under that, the flight performance shouldn't be affected that much.

Flying at Mt.Everest base camp is different story, but at 2000 m you'll be fine without installing high attitude props.

Agree with Dobbmatt. Have flown at 2100m without problems. It does get windy so take care. Also, at lower temperatures, battery output tends to be lower at the start of the flight so don't fly aggressively.

I'm flying in Arizona at 6000' or Alaska at 3500' with no issues whatsoever at either elevation.

I would recommend using the DJI inspire high altitude props are slightly wider in pitch and do make a difference even if they seem not.  slight decrease in flight time.  Very noticeable increase in lift.   they also work fantastic on firmware lower than 1.4 if you use the old x3  due to the way the flight controller needs to stabilise the aircraft it is Less optimal with smaller weight in lower density atmosphere,  unless flying in ATTI (aircraft fw  1.9). Even in normal conditions flying all the time with the X5 it is so much quieter

Just curious, how do you evaluate the increased lift of high altitude props? Bigger payload at sea level? I've been flying this summer in Canadian Rocky Mountains region at 4000-5000' range with these props and - to be honest - didn't noticed any benefits. I assume that the HA props are really effective at Himalayan altitudes where the air is noticeably light and breathing becomes problematic for some people. In my case the system was reporting forced limitation of power supply from battery, particularly during fast passages. And - of course - flying time was reduced by 5 min average. Quieter? Baritone rather than soprano, but equally loud ...
