My thought is that we seem to build up credits on this forum. I would be more than happy to donate my credits to dronebutts Beer fund (inspire fund) I dont know if its possible or what a credit is worth but maybe someone from dji could advise??

I do not own a drone, but as a nerd I have to admit I was drooling over it when I first looked it up a couple days ago. I probably wont be back here after this week, but a drone out of this family is definitely on my list of future purchases (ow that price tag)

A question for Dji. If people want to, is it possible that we can donate credits to dronebutt to try to get him his own inspire? He deserves it.

I think it's because of Dronebutt, DJI will finally get all the details they need from the flight recorder. Knowing what went wrong will help DJI and everyone that has and will ever own an Inspire.

Let's try this another way:

Dearmas, I think I have your Inspire 1 that crashed in my friend's yard ...

I have a theory on fly always, and I'm sure you guys have thought about this too. You know when you look at your position on the map with your phone say in Google maps, and your position is off like ten miles, then you walk around a bit and it fixes itself.  Well say it's the satellites that cause an error it's possible right. So can't any GPS enabled quad, say the inspire or phantom record a wrong home point? Say like his did twenty five miles away? I think I'm going to enable dynamic each time I take off because yea your home point on the map may be correct but the inspire might think something else till it corrects itself or you reset the home point. Or reset as dynamic. Does this make any sense.? I know only the military have the most percise GPS.

I'll also donate cash for Dronebutt's Inspire

A human being like this should receive his very own Drone for his unselfish and amazing effort

How do we go about it guys?

DJI, surely you can give us a 35% discount on purchasing Dronebutt an Inspire 1?

Sorry hadn't had a chance to post but as you all have read... thanks to dronebutt and his friend I have my drone back. Can't begin to tell you how grateful I am to them. The reward I gave them does not begin to repay the kindness. They really went out of there way to get it back to me. They are both outstanding young men... Thank you guys. I want to thank everyone here as well for all the support. This is a great forum and Im happy to be part of it.

The drone is remarkable shape. The left front ESC is apparently damaged and a broken prop is the extent of the damage from what I can tell; considering its journey, that's incredible. I'm going to have to send it in for repair and go to therapy before I fly it again.
