How do you turn off the avoidance sensors in the mavic ?
I saw in one post somone always flys with the avoidance sensors off and has np..

Also these crashes that everyone is having wouldn't be realted to the new controller transmission protocol ocusnyc used to comunicate with mavic ?
Is it possible to switch back to the old transmission systems used before on p3 and p4 ?

I haven't got my mavic as yet and are trying to work out the best way to fly it without crashes
I have a P3 advanced and never had a problem with that yet ...

1: yes you can turn them off ( VNS settings in the App )..

2: No not possible to disable Ocusync. Also doubt it's related to any user crashes.

3: Do what you do with a P3. Nothing different.

I only fly my mavic without avoidance and if anything only with VPS on. The front cameras have caused some erratic behavior for me flying in close places. I find when I relieve the automation of the drone as much as possible the safer easier it becomes relying on my brain instead of its.
