Anybody use DJI GO with Xiaomi phone? I planning to buy new phone for my Mavic and i choose this 3 models:

• Xiaomi Mi Max 3GB/32GB
• Xiaomi Redmi Pro 3GB/32GB
• Samsung s6 - but this is twice expensive
  

Do You have some experience with this phones and DJI GO?

The Mi5 should work for sure, its a pretty high end phone. I have a mi5s plus on order so I can check that when it arrives.
The Max is more limited in processing power, RAM but a nice big screen and cheap, would be nice to know if that works.

Yes, they all should work.

The Max/ Redmi Note Pro  uses  650/652 CPU, which is on par with the previous 810.
They are good budget choice

Hi, I`m using xiaomi mi5s Plus and do not have any problem with p3pro ,osmo and inspire 1. But  have the same problem that samsung with android 6.0.1 , I can not have installed dji go and litchi in the same phone.

Just ordered the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 - hope it works fine with the Mavic Pro

All this stuff with the mavic it's a joke, Xiaomi mi5 doesn't work!!!!

I just bought Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 for my Mavic, DJI go succesfully Installed but it cant run?? Why?? Pls help.... Thank you.

I tried the following with DJI Go and Go 4:
Redmi Note 1 - Failed
Redmi Note 2 - OK
Mi Max 32G - Failed

All is very simple! I'have the same problem too with Phantom 4/Pro and Mavic with a Xiaomi mi Max 16 and Redmi Note 4 - both with 6.0.1. the solution is simple. 1 - you need to enable "testers mode" - in the "about phone" - you need to tap 10 times on a MIUI version, after it you need to eneble "USB debugging". DJI Go And Litchi can not work in the in one workspace. You need to ENABLE second Workspace an to install DJI Go In First and Litchi In second. or vice versa. How convenient. and all will be well. Tested on Mavic and P4 and P4P with Mi Max 16 and RedMi Note 4

First of all I would like to say I'm new to the forum and greet everybody. Secondly, I'm grateful for everything I could read here from all the contributors in various threads, since I'm sure it will have a beneficial effect in real life experiences with a drone.

Now, I would like to say I do not own the drone yet, but am on the verge of buying the Mavic. I will also need a new phone for the RC and thought about Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. Therefore, it is to me of utmost importance to know beforehand whether this phone will operate smoothly with the Mavic and DJI GO. I read your post with great interest and hope that I could be successful with the Redmi Note 4 although prior to that I kept hearing it was rather a no-go. Still, I would like to ask you to confirm that based on your experiences the phone and the Mavic work together with no problems in various scenarios / modes of operation. If there were any issues please report in details what kind of stuff it was. What are the strong and weak points of this pair ?

If it's any help, I just connected to my Mavic  successfully using DJI Go with a Xiaomi Mi 4c 16GB. Everything seemed to work OK.

For a long time could not find a solution until i found it himself: To  Xaomi Mi Max connected to the RC Mavic without problems - all of you need  to do is disable the USB debugging mode ;) Good luck to all!
Turn off Debug on USB mode.

As for my Redmi note 4, DJI go and DJI go 4 or Litch or even dronepan, cannot be installed simultaneously, if there is more than 1 app installed, any of them will not work.......so I can only use 1.

the xioami note 4 does not work with mavic it did with my P4 but only if you un installed litchi or visa versa go app, anyone know how to fix this?

excellent worked for me someone above sais to turn usb debugging off but on what you said it worked..I also desintalled gopro apps I had and other flight apps did a re start and it worked now I can enjoy 1080p in my goggles

Samsung S7 Works great, also use my Iphone 7 Plus, but S6 works good also probably.

i think use second Space in Miui8 with 6.0.1 is partial solution,
if i need in same mobile Dji Go, Litchi and Dronedeploy not possible.
Only possible 1 app in fist space and other in second space.

Ciusly other app: Altizure
it works perfect at same space with dji go.

Hi everybody ! Just to say that after multiples tries, my new Xiaomi MI 4S did not work even with USB debug or removing apps.
But, at the end, putting DJI GO in a second space, it was working perfectly without crashes and lags.

My Red Note 4 will connect without a problem if the usb debugging is turned off, the application dji go but often fall and the phone restarts. If I decide to go in or go to the airplane mode, everything works properly. Litchi must be installed in the same space. Another problem is that when recording a sreen record there is a large latency of the transmitted image, up to 2 sec.

My Xiaomi Redmi 3S (on 6.0.1) works well with DJI Go (4.0.7) and my Mavic Pro (FW .600). So far so good.

I am using a Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 without any problems!

MIUI 8 & DJI GO 4.0.5


One thing to mention:
DJI Go 4.0.6 and 4.0.7 do not work! But if you take a look at this forum and the many 1-Star app reviews you can see this might an overall issue at the moment. The last stable DJI Go App for Android was 4.0.5!

Bought the MI6 should arrive this week and I'm afraid that does not work, I could not even put mi5 to work with mavic

My Xiaomi Redmi Pro works, the version with dual rear camera lens.I struggled initially with the problem with the disconnected issue. After fumbling with it for an hour, I later learned that you will need to perform the following to get it  connected,

- Enable developer mode (google on how to do this)
- Once Developer mode enabled, turn on the following in the Developer options - USB Debugging , Install via USB, USB debugging (Security settings)
- Plug in the cable, you will see the phone in charging mode, change it to File Transfer mode <- This is a must do  

You should see your phone connected to the RC.

I'm using a Xiaomi Mi6. I encountered a problem just now and I happen to come here looking for a solution.

I was flying for about 2 minutes when my remote and DJI 4 app disconnected with my Mavic when I was landing. I cannot control the drone with the remote control anymore and my Mavic is just there hovering 8 feet above me, i tried restarting the app but it won't connect anymore. Since the drone is not connected with the remote it slowly descended to land but I started to get scared coz it was also drifting away from me towards a pond. I chased the drone and thanks to my long reach and height I was able to catch it just before it went over the fence to land in the pond.

The remote battery level is at 91% and the Mavic battery is at 83%. I do not know what's the problem was wether it because of the app, or the type C cable that comes with the remote, or the new firmware. This is the first time that this has happen and I was flying my Mavic without any issues after the my update last week. I tried using the usb port below the remote but its not running the app when I turn on the remote.

I dont want to experience that scary situation again. It sucks if this has something to do with the app or hardware compatibility with my Xiaomi Mi6 phone.

Btw I did not experience any disconnection issue with the Phantom 4 Pro when using my Mi6.

i bought a xiaomi redmi 4x and dji go 4 application doesnt open 2 days now...it opens the first page and stacks there...please help
