Hi everyone, After update the DJI go apps with new interface, my dji phantom 3 standard follow me mode does not work anymore, although with full gps on my phone. After avtice the follow me mode function the aircraft stay there it does no move at all. Before update the follow me mode function work well. Anyone know what problem?

Dun have any message show on DJI GO app, just as normal. I using asus zenfone 2 ze551ml, my tables also cannot model samsung galaxy note 10.1 (2014 edition). But before update to the new interface it work fine. Now, when turn on follow me mode, the aircraft stand there, it only can control up and down, it not following me.

Could you please make a short video of this issue?
Have you tried to change another mobile device with GPS signal to test it?

Im using phantom 3 standard to and got this problem only if use latest version dji go app. Now I solved this by using older version (2.9.1).
Latest version not working follow me mode.

Same to me. One tech guy said The bird should be 30m up and 3G on. But it's not work. Any solution would be appreciated!

What mobile device you are using? The GPS signal is great or not? or any message pops out on the screen?
Would you please upload a short video for further evaluation?

Aloha baiyunfei,

     Go to the PhantomHelp.com web site.  The 7th listing down in the right side column is the software link.  Under DJI is a listing for Older DJI GO Versions.  Look careful and be sure to look into the link for the Android version.  Down toward the bottom are listed two 2.9.1 versions and a 3.0.0 and 3.0.1 versions.

     While you are there, PhantomHelp has many other helpful pieces of information.  Hope this helps!

There are a fair number of posts all with this same problem on the follow me feature not working.....im one of them too.

Video of what exacty do you want? The drone doesnt follow, the map shows the drones location AND location of the remote. Gps signal is excellent on both. No error codes showing up.

Worked flawlessly until this last update. I used the feature the day before the update,perfect performance and tried right after update and did not work anymore.


I am trying to downgrade the software as it IS THE PROBLEM.

bought a Phanton 3 Std, and I got ready with courses and all the knowledge about the equipment, after some flights, filming and photos to suit the equipment I went to try intelligent ways of flight, and the first one was Folow me. Drone at 40 meters (43.75 Jd) high, 30 meters (32.81 Jd) away from me, GPS signal STRONG, I applied the command in the DJI GO application, unfortunately Drone did not follow me. I went looking for information in many forums and noticed that this problem is general and nobody presented solution. Any Body have solution for this case.

DJI P3 standard. Had the latest updates on everything. Everything else worked but "Follow me". Read about the downgrading the app. Tried everything else I could find on it.
