Just had one my posts deleted with the comment and I Kid you Not "Malicious irrigation" - wow never knew that Agriculture was one of the things DJI did too. And moving forward with my cancelled order - after they canceled it - it disappeared from my account and everywhere else - so god forbid if you do not have the original email with the order number or the ordered date - seems very unprofessional and unethical at best. Quick to take the money; quick to make promises - but lousy in reciprocation. Now just like the shipping fiasco - I am stuck in a refund fiasco - with no certain dates or deadlines to get the refund back. There is certainly consistency in business practices (Sic !!!) with DJI. Kudos to you...you have just killed the happiness of so many folks even before take off..literally. Did you earn enough bank interest on the money collected from all those pre-orders which were safely deposited in your coffers? I hope so and I also hope that you develop a spine and some character. Don't delete posts - be honest and courageous enough to answer when you have basically stolen someone else's hard earned money.

Thanks for that.

I'm curious if "units" is including accessories, Osmo, etc or solely refers to drones themselves. It seems like it might mean drones the way it is written, but the article doesn't point to any sources, so there's no way of knowing for sure.

Lots of people I know including me got there drones this week. Only had one flight and it is brilliant. Hang in there it's worth it

Still waiting also, DJI Is really handling all this poorly is my impression now when people that bought after me is getting theirs.
Even if it's region base just ship them around and do the first come as they lied to us about.

Man up DJI and give us exact details about shipping and regions and where they are at at .

Curious whether extended warranty would be considered for those of us that will not be able to use our new Mavic's due to cold weather? Or better yet, is there a cold weather kit that would allow use down to -10C? Winters are long in Canada with at least 4 months of below 0C temps...

You have to remember the line in their comment that says "we cannot give specific delivery estimates for many orders moving through various global sales channels". Focus on the key words "various global sales channels", they're selling mass stock to apple and other suppliers because of the demand for the holiday season most likely. Big name suppliers will bring layers into their business, dumb dumb customers like myself will wait because we don't feel like dealing with the $50+ to return it (cough cough, because someone decided to take our payment immediately).

Same thing happened to me, I just wanted to know if my order was going to be delayed even more for ordering the "Fly More" package. Already made the mistake of ordering directly through the supplier. I just want to get mine before we get snow here in MI

As for the definition, I think they mean we're flooding with negativity. I read the subject "mavic pro shipping update 11/3", so I don't know how we can talk about the subject w/o coming across negatively. I'm doing work with our China branch every week and I know for a fact that customer service is a legit concern out there as well. We just want to be better informed. How many preorder were made, whats the production rate per day, do you build/ship over the weekends, etc. We're trained to think something's wrong in these situations, even more so when the companies dead silent

I cannot understand why customers have received their Mavics and have ordered after me and now there are more excuses in which it all depends what region your live in??????
What ever happened to First come First served? i missed the part that stated when i ordered that it would be dependent on where you live?
DJI has lost control and ability to be transparent and this continues to be an absolute shambles.

(I received this message two weeks ago when I inquired about my delivery date. I ordered from a distributor based in Washington on October 7th. When I first ordered the delivery date was November 3rd-9th. As far as I know the new delivery dates haven't changed. I hope this helps others in the same boat get an idea about their own time frame....patiently waiting.....)

Your warranty start when it's shipped to you.
DJI Care Refresh starts when you activate the aircraft.
So if you get your delivery next week and wait 3 months to activate  and fly, you'll have 9 months left on the warranty and 12 months on the Care Refresh.

   Wow so many angry children on here .... There were heaps more mavics ordered than dji were predicting .....  how hard is this situation to comprehend ??  Sure dji made a mistake .. these things happen.

You'll get it when you get it "DERP" and more than likely you'll absolutely love it and will be back to pre-order the next dji product.

Of course dji can't give every individual the exact date,hour,minute and second their mavic will arrive stop asking .. then crying when it doesn't happen.  Doing a great job DJI we don't mind waiting a bit longer do we guys ?  If i worked for dji and read these forums i know whose drones i wouldn't be rushing to deliver.

9th of November? you won't see it till summer 2017. It'll be Jan-Feb till they get to the early October orders alone. Although with the massive amounts of cancellations from the wait period and abusive DJI "support" maybe a bit quicker since the line is shrinking.

I think they say 6-8 weeks because that's when they expect this shipping delay to die down by a lot. Not everyone who places a new order of the Mavic Pro from this point forward is going to be waiting the same period of time as the customers who've ordered in September / October. DJI make improvements with their warehouse distribution team, put measures into place. After late December/ January 2017, shipping should be back to normal, as in dispatching new orders within 3-5 days.

Dear all, I ordered a combo for Switzerland within DJI store on September 29. First, after asking by mail, I got a delivery promise November 3. After this date passed, I started chatting. New promise: November 15 and the DJI guy wrote "for sure your delivery won't be delayed into December!" Today I chatted again for a status update. Answer: we can't give you any date.
In the meantime a lot of customers got their Mavics who ordered well after me. "First come, first served"?
Unfortunately I will leave the country at beginning of December for video shots and I counted on the Mavic ordered on Sept. 29.
Up to now I was a loyal customer: Phantoms and Inspire. However, after this I will have to reconsider my long-term relationship with DJI. How will a company handle simple repairs if it cannot even handle the "first come first served" process?

I am hoping that DJI keep to their word that they will clear all orders within the next 7 to 8 weeks ordered before Nov 3rdSo I am assuming that this is from the the shipping update on the 3rd Nov, so for instance you ordered on the 2nd of Nov that would put you in the 8 week time frame!
And If you ordered say 2weeks prior like me around the 23rd Oct that should put you in for the 5 to 6 weeks slot from the 3rd of Nov which would mean shipping by the end of the first week in Dec at the latest!
If they are true to their word and do ship on a first come first serve bases which I'm sure they will try to honour, so at this point I have no reason to doubt them and I'm sure they are doing their best, but I must admit it doesn't help your confidence when you read posts like the previous one which I hope you get yours very soon,
I just hope Christmas really does come early this year in the form of a Mavic Pro :-)
