Look on the bright side....the longer it takes to get the mavic, the longer it will take for (your) gov't to make RC modeling illegal...courtesy of the Nosestat's and his ilk.

All, it's already the case for 99.9% of the orders. There is no real guarantee the devices will be actually shipped any time soon.
And the handful who got the Mavics show there was no respect for the "first come first serve" idea as announced.

They managed to make a huge mess out of the best drone on market... Total lack of coordination between production and communications. This will not be forgotten by paying customers.
Trust in DJI is now at its lowest, disappointment at max. Perfect end of year results for the communications department. Great job !

Hey guys, wanted to throw some hope in there. Mine shipped today! I ordered on the 30th of September. It's supposed to arrive Friday and hopefully it does because I wanted to use this thing to take shots at my wedding rehearsal on Friday of the church and reception venue. I had lost hope on getting it in time but now I have some!

The lack of mavic pro bundles shipping leads me to believe that there is a shortage of batteries, or a problem with battery production which has not been reported. If this is the case, I am even more concerned that the shipment of combos will be delayed far after the 7-8 week hopeful window. It would be great if DJI would comment as to why later-ordered mavics are shipping before combos, despite the first-come first-served promise.

Finally my mavic only has been shipped out today. Ordered my about 1-2am on oct.1st just when I thought mine wasn't ever going to be shipped out. Patience is key guys they are coming.

I really hope yours arrives in time for your wedding man! You'd get some awesome shots for sure! I ordered through B&H, I hope they begin receiving stock soon.

For those of us with Sept orders for fly more combos who are still looking at early day September 28th orders its quite the sucker punch to us.

Im going to be very ticked if they decide to delay my order because I spent more money on there products. If this is the case, and they don't have enough batteries to ship those Fly More orders, then they should eat up the cost of shipping two packages separately. Least they can do for my $1,400 investment from a month ago

More evidence that there is a bottle neck in battery production, and that customers that ordered the combo, regardless of date, are doomed to wait while DJI prooritizes shipping layer mavics over honoring "first come first serve" :/

Im from Uk and ordered my fly more combo 28th at 10am and mine is now shipped. Think most of us who ordered up to 2nd or 3rd Oct should be seeing theirs shipped within the next few days. There seems to be much more activity the past couple of days with people stating theirs are shipped.

Don't worry, KEN told me there is a warranty so nothing to worry about. ))) Want to see DJI manage the waives of unhappy customers who waited for months for this product and for more months for the warranty to be delivered if Mavic has issues.
If we'e getting BETA devices, we've been fooled twice. I believe more and more we're being taken for fools.
And YES, GoPro are laughing now. Everybody would except for those who paid OR who paid and got a faulty device !
Imagine if more of our vendors did like DJI, it would be a nightmare.

I think we've all learned our lesson, curent and potential customers, and the enthusiasm will be way lower for future DJI products.

Very small number sipping, in a disorganised way and on a drop by drop basis.
We pre-ordered 'cause we trusted DJI and especially 'cause we wanted the product asap. If I wanted it next year, I'd buy it next year, not 6 weeks ago, with 8 more to wait...

Guys - it looks like they're shipping Mavic orders only - Combos will have to wait ! (glad I've ordered just mavic+ battery on 6th October - hopefully will be shipped soon)

Yes. that is what it looks like. I wonder why DJI has failed to clearly communicate that to us.
