Seems like DJI is shipping much faster now, looks as though they are on late October orders for us here in the USA. Gives me hope that i will have my drone by Christmas, (ordered Nov 1st)
Heads up, not sure if others already stated something similar, just thinking of a logical distribution way.
My theory as to why they are shipping so much to North America (Canada & USA) has probably to do with the quantity of units ordered.. compared to other Continents, this one had the biggest impact. Leaving DJI to ship more to these locations while also processing the same % to other continents. With North America (mainly USA) buying the majority, their % sent would be higher compared to those on other regions.
Out of lets say 1000 units bought
500 were from North America
200 from Asia
200 Europe
100 Australia
So lets say they make 125 drones per week (8 weeks worth to reach 1000 drones bought (to keep their well worded statement)),
Math= total of 1000 Drones/ 8 weeks = 125 drone needed to be made per week.
North America would be getting 62 drones sent a week
Asia and Europe would get 25 to each (total of 50)
And Australia getting 12 to 13
Add those all up, 62+25+25+13 (rounded) = 125
125*8=1000 drones.
*As for their major distributers, im sure they have another manufacturing line for that, if not im sure you could include that into the equation, move some numbers around and get a less satisfying number.
As it has seemed through this forum, that's the way its been going; considering the lack of shipments to Australia and the majority coming to North America. Correct me if I'm wrong, or give me criticism, this is just a sketch.
