And PLEASE read the manual cover to cover to fully understand all of it's functions, features, and limitations.
And as a extra precaution, during compass calibration I remove all metal that's on me (keys, phone, watch) and I calibrate with the RC/phone or tablet on the ground several away from me.

Nice video's Ken, did see them earlier this day. BUT, people might think this is all they need to fly the Mavic.. no need for the manual. Video should start with a disclaimer that this info video is not replacing the manual, only for entertainment/ infotainment .
Keep the video's coming, especially about calibrating the remote.

Yes, the video does start to read the manual, or at least the flight portion of it.

My bad, did not notice this specific part of information at the beginning.

Yes they really are useful, especially to the new pilots, the way they explain things is very well done.

I had watched the video earlier this morning, as I am subscribed to DJI's tutorial YouTube channel. Hopefully, the video will help those who are too lazy or too stupid to read the manual. Part of the problem is all of the unboxing videos where everyone implies that you just throw the manual away, because it's all self explanatory, and then they go on to fold open the bottom arms before the top, or grab the gimbal cover by the sides and try to just pull it off, leaving the gimbal clamp ON, and then powering up the Mavic. These unboxings are typically followed by a first flight in a wooded area, or in a city. I just shake my head... But in all fairness, DJI has marketed this drone as, "you can get shots like this too!" and "It's easy to fly" and "within reach of everyone", when in fact, it's NOT all that simple.

It is a good video though. Ken always does a great job explaining the process, using small words.

But since you are active on this thread I would appreciate if you could answer me a couple of questions?. This is a shipping related issue, I pre-ordered my drone with a tier 1 supplier of dji's here in the uk on october the 4th. The fly more bundle was shipped on the 25th of october. In the past few days (drones direct) the main retailer after apple here in the uk have sent out an email stating that the original delivery date on Nov 2nd was now not going to happen, They quickly blamed Dji for their lack of response and will now not give a date at all for delivery!. I am simply at the point where the lack of information and what seem to be lies about shipping are going to make me cancel my order. I understand the delays ect, what I dont understand is why everytime I hit the live chat button I get NO information and am sent an email link. My one and only question here is very very simple Ken.....On the 25th of October how many Fly more Mavic pro bundles were sent over to the united kingdom (if any) and how many of them flymore bundles were allocated to Drones direct... that is all I want to know mate.

brilliant video its a shame people dont watch these things the amount of people that i have seen calibrating wrong is incredible

I do not have an answer for that question, only online sales would be able to help and I don't know if they would even know the quantity that was shipped on that date and even if they did they probably wouldn't give out that info. The retailer can give you that info if they wanted to.

Cheers for the reply ken. So so frustrating as a customer to be getting no information.... ive emaild every possible channel at dji to no avail. Dji have clearly jumped on the karma release and pissed alot of customers off in the process. JOKE!!!

I'll have to watch that again - couldn't pay attention to anything he said even though I watched to the end.
