I have a battery that is misbehaving. Two charge cycles done. Cant switch on when inserted in Inspire. When attempt to charge light 4 on battery flashes 3 times, pause, then flashes, repeat.
Any suggestions?
According to the instruction manual, page 22, the flashing LED4 (three times as per your video) happens when your room temperature is not suitable for charging. On page 19 it says that the battery will only charge when the temperature is between 32 and 104 degrees Fahrenheit.
That is correct. But my room temp is between 25C and 33C degrees.
I think I may have damaged the battery when I charged it directly after a flight .
The average temp of a battery at the end of a flight is about 52C degrees.
So I have decided that this is my own fault this battery has failed.
I cannot with a good heart claim for something that DJI specifically states you should not do.
Did you get this sorted? I have the same problem but mine is the 3rd light flashing three times a second (over voltage I think). It looks like the battery needs a "reset" I'm not sure how to do this or drain it as the Inspire won't come on when the battery is inserted.

No. I have stripped the battery to see what is inside.
Have bought another 5 batteries
I did the wrong thing to charge when battery just came off flight so I will not take this up with DJI. Have written it of to my own error.
Just to let you know its probably due to forgetting about the winder pads that come with the drone for temps of below 5 degrees.
I flew mine today with them on, landed the aircraft at the end of the flight and had this error.
After reading your posts, i looked into the issue further and it turned out that the battery temperature itself was too hot and would not safely charge.
I had completely forgotten it was 15 degrees outside and ran the battery on the drone with the pads.
2 minutes in the fridge/ freezer with the pads removed and it is charging again without any issues.
