Have any of you guys had a problem similar to this one?
I've heard similar problems with RC Camera Recorder but nothing similar to this.

This is happening after updating to the latest firmware after I received the unit.
I tried, restarting multiple times, IMU calibration, gimbal calibration, compass calibration.
When removing the battery and gimbal for a couple of minutes, everything goes back again to be normal but a couple of minutes later, the gimbal goes crazy and this error shows up again.

It seems to be software issue because it apparently happened after the update (before it was looking ok).

DJI 24/7 support is a complete waste of time, they wouldn't help. I'm waiting Monday to get in touch with the US support but meanwhile I was wondering if any of you guys had a similar problem (?).

Tried to reload firmware - it aborts due to same version

Total flight time on this system 9 mins and 41 seconds

Wow. I wished i didnt purchsed the Dji Inspire 1. After reading this forum, so many issues.

+1. I also have the same issue. No other problems till I updated to the newest firmware 1.2.8. I tried calibrating IMU but it also stop/fails at 1%.

My setup:
Phantom 3 Advanced, aircraft firmware 1.2.8
Remote controller, firmware at 1.2.7 (1.2.8 has no effect on remote controller since it was an aircraft camera update)

mobile device: iPad mini, latest iOS 8.3
DJI Pilot App, version 1.1.2

Would be helpful if you just confirmed which aircraft you have as I got a little confused there regarding update firmware versions, though I had missed some updates for my Inspire until U released in later posts you must be referring to a Phantom 3
