They did not discover tap to focus the first time.  They repeated the test.  I give them credit for integrity in doing that.  Not many publications would do so.

Unfortunately, the publication did not post the retraction.  The original video is posted on Wired's channel with over 600,000 subscribers.  The retraction is posted on Brent's channel which has just over 6,000 subscribers.
