calibration impossible

Dear DJI.

How do you want me to calibrate my new lens  when this screen is  on my Ipad. I've seen many more  users have the same problem.

Could you please provide a list of your set up? Please verify what firmware and DJI Go app software you're using.

It happened when My IPAD updated the go app.
Inspire I pro
ZenmuseX5 with Olympus 45mm.

Just to make sure I'm on the same page, that message will not fade away from above the Calibrate button, correct? Are you unable to it tap the "calibrate now" button at all? Are you able to enter a different menu option and then back out to see if the message clears?

Have you tried reinstalling the app or reinserting the lens to make sure it's connected properly?

Because you asked me to I did re-installed the app and checked the lens twice... no good...

Delete the entire Go App from the I pad  and start over ,something is corrupted on the Go APP. Make sure you are deleting the old APP first , then re -install the new one.

I did that twice already.. All I need  is a previous version and my problems are solved.

I get this but I assumed it was because I am using an iPad mini and the dialog box is compressed to fit.  Not ideal but when I press the OK button (in the jumbled text) it does seem to enter the calibration process.  Have just purchased an iPad Pro so will test with this when I get the chance pin a couple of weeks.

Hi, sorry for keeping you waiting. Needed to find someone with an android ;-)

My Ipad  is an Ipad air2.....

I tested today with a samsung note 3 and all went fine  with the calibration process. Went back to the Ipad air 2 and the screen is still messed up. Deleted the app and re-installed but no  good...

So it seems I need an Android for my lens calibration..  It works, but it should work on an Ipad Air 2 also.

Just to furthers troubleshoot, do you happen to have the stock 15mm lens to see if it does the same thing when using the iPad?

Ok, so I've used the iPad Pro and it seems to have cleared the issue.  Whether that's because it's a bigger screen than the mini or it's just a clean load of the app, who's to say.  I intend to use the larger iPad with the X5 anyway as it will help with focussing.
