I received my shipping notification just the other day (Feb. 5th). I own a 4th Generation iPad. I 've read on this forum, a few have said that the 4th Gen works fine with the inspire. Is this true?

A little work and searching in the forum will give you the complete story. Ipad Air 2 will work, assuming you download un unapproved and unauthorized adhoc app, or until Apple approves the app for distribution -  at which time it will be officially available. Don't ask about timing. Search the forum as to where to get the adhoc app. Proceed at your own risk.

I have been using an iPad mini for over 40 flights with .9.2 and it has worked great. I did, however, decide to hedge my bet and just bought a Nvidia Shield  wifi only. I'll eventually need 2 monitors, anyway. It's just that DJI has been improving the Android version....and the IOS version is in Apple's court. And with Apple...you never know.
