Although this thread will probably disappear it has been reported over on another forum that One digitals.uk (based in HK) have confirmed in writing that the Mavic has been recalled by DJI due to controller issues.

Any comment from DJI on this one?

I'm sure if there is a comment or announcement to be made, they will do it when they feel it is appropriate, not because forum members are poking and prodding.

Can you link that thread or the written proof?

Their website says you can pre-order it now and it ships by the 14th of September.

I'm pretty sure Grunenthal said that thalidomide was perfectly safe and Ford said there was no defect with the Pinto so do you think DJI would admit to a problem?

Well if there recalling , how are they going to keep that a secret, you have to tell people your recalling , or are they expected to just guess?

They have to admit to an issue if there is a recall. We are talking about flying razor blades here. The potential lawsuits if they didn't would be astronomical.

I suppose we are to send our units to the address that you will provide.

If there was a recall, shipping would've come to a halt to rectify the controller issue in the production line. Instead, shipping has ramped up, so the OP is posting false information

DJI Ken, who works for DJI, has stated in another thread a little under a hour ago that Mavic Pro drones are constantly being shipped out day-after-day.

I have seen on several forums people receiving their shipping notices minutes ago. Ignore the poster of this thread. Don't feed trolls.

I received my shipping notice this morning.  This thread is just bait and should be closed.

We have not been informed of any recall and we are in contact with R&D daily.  This is more speculation without evidence.  I am closing this thread.
