It's a shame that apart from this contest, Skypixel is pretty well non-functioning.
For months very few new submissions are ever displayed and it's weeks since any new images were shown.

Submit a photo to Skypixel and no-one will ever see it.
Want to see what new images are being submitted? - You're out of luck because you wan't be able to find them on Skypixel.
What's the purpose of Skypixel?
As DJI make the best ready-to-fly drones and are the technological leaders in aerial cameras, it makes sense that Skypixel should be a showcase of what can be done with DJI products, a place for users to show off their creations and an inspiration for users.
Skypixel started out with these aims but has failed to be as good as it should.
Is DJI ever going to fix it?

Thanks for the feedback. To answer your last question, YES! We're well aware of this and are working on some new systems that can address this.

Tottally right in the past i posted 3 photos in beautiful Greece anti Paxos island and never was able to see it!

At least we can see it in this forum! LOL

How am I supposed to enter that contest when I don't even have my freaking Mavic yet...

I have to say that the SkyPixel site is not very functional.  I saw the competition advertised and as I am already signed up to Sky Pixel I went to submit an image then changed my mind on the image.  I then got an email thanking me for my submission although no image had actually been uploaded.  I then went back to the site to make an actual submission,  I've had no email this time and I'm not really confident that the submission worked.  I have emailed Sky Pixel several days ago but I've had no reply.

Hey jjphoto, thanks for the feedback, we'll definitely fix this next time around. About your issue about submitting a photo, can you remember the name of the photo you submitted? If you don't remember adding a name, it'll be the file name of the original photo. If you have that, I can quickly check for you!

Still waiting for my first drone, the Mavic Pro. So entering this competition seems unlikely...

Good idea!! Then use a $20 mini drone to move it. I'm going to have to do that cause my Mavic hasn't even been made yet.
Is that legal Dave? Or does it have to be a DJI ballon? I could use a felt pen?

lol same feeling here there are just to many people, and many have insane photos....

This whole push back of the release date of the Mavic Pro is out of control.

Sorry Dave, but Skypixel is a bit rubbish, even when the site does load. Does it have a mission statement, would be interested to know what you think it's purpose or position is.

This competition is clearly not for Mavic owners... obvious bloody reason for that {:4_154:}

How do they confirm the contest entries were shot by those submitting the content (and not "borrowed" from another source not familiar with SkyPixel, as well as whether the images were shot in 2016)? Just wondering.

It's not really fair promoting this contest on this forum. Most people on this forum are still waiting for their craft to arrive, and now they're going to miss out on a chance for a Phantom or Inspire 2.

The Pro prizes are way better than the enthusiast. Can we change if we have already submitted images under Enthusiast, to Pro?
