I think I've gotten myself into a jam. I love the Glyph headset for FPV but it is not compatible with iOS devices like my iPad Pro or iPad Mini 4 or iPhone 6+. On several of our boards I've seen the RCA Viking II tablet as compatible with DJI GO, so I bought one yesterday just for flying the Inspire (and maybe, my Mavic if it ever arrives someday far off in the future, Long long from now.)

BUT: I loaded the app onto the RCA tablet – comes up okay but doesn't recognize the aircraft or the RC.

Can I get some advice? Or, has anyone figured out how to get the headset working with iOS and not locking up or trashing the video?

Just to clarify. what OS version are you running on this tablet? Have you tried a different USB cable?

Good morning and thank you for your response. I tried several different male-male USB cables. Running Android 6.0 now but earlier let the tablet update itself.

When you plug in the tablet to the RC, do you see any indication that the device is charging?

yes...charges off the USB just fine

Can you check to see if your USB settings are set to MTP mode and if you have USB debugging enabled?
