I will really appreciate if someone could tell me if the discontinued Zenmuse Z15 5D for the Canon Eos Mark II (not the HD) is compatible with A3 Controller and Lightbridge2.. I would like to embark my "old" Eos 5D MkII into a S1000+ platform but I am unsure the gimbal would work with the latest electronics.. please help!

No, the older 5D gimbal will not work with LB2. You would need to use the 5D III version.

Thanks Jamie, then I've two questions..

1.- Then I have to use an A2 without LB, sending the signal throug analog 5,8? Can I use an A3 with a 5,8 trnasmitter?

2.-and does the 5D III version is compatible with the EOS 5D Mark II??

Yes, you can use a 5.8 GHz FPV VTX. The EOS 5D II should fit on the 5D III, so you would be fine.

Great... I've been looking somewhere in the Z15 5D III (HD) and doesn't says it is compatible with the 5D Mark II... But you say it should fit... May I trust you??...

It's similar in weight in configuration, so it's something that you can try. If you have a local dealer, I would recommend bringing in your camera and trying it out. I understand that it is extra money, so trying it out in person may provide you with better assurance.
